SET OBJECTIVES

Developing a web and/or mobile infrastructure to simplify the

management of ADS (Blood Donors Association), and involve more

people into the association.

SWOT ANALYSIS

• Strenghts : we analyzed the positive characteristics of the association

• Weaknesses : we analyzed the negative characteristics of the association

• Opportunities : we thought about the chances to improve the association

• Threats : we thought about what could cause trouble for the association

FOCUS ON OUR PROJECT

According to the (short!) disposition of time we would have, we had to

cut back the ideas and to focus on only one of them.

We decided to create a new web page for the association, designing it

similar to a social network.

PROJECT STEPS

First of all the designers decided the layout of the web page and a drop

of blood as the main motive.

It was the first work on illustrator for the designers so we try to be

original and funny but at the same time clear and simple.

Designers proposed their ideas to the developers and discussed with

them.

We decided together what would be possible to do and what wouldn’t

be.

The developers start designing the database and web interface.

They decided to have a private area on web site where members can

check their profile which consist of the number of donation, last donation

date, kind of donation and results of their blood analyses. They also can

check the date when they can donate again.

Based on membership type members will have an appropriate interface;

for example administrators can input and change blood analyses, add

new members and create new events.

WHAT WE GET FROM THIS EXPERIENCE

• We learnt how to work in team and how to distribute tasks.

• The importance to organise the ideas before start working in order to

have a complete view of the project.

• How to use appropriate tools for designing web pages.

• Each one improve himself and help others to improve themselves.
