VOICE PRODUCTION:What is an effective voiceeffective voice?Audibility – should not also be heard but
should be understood.Pleasant – the manner of speaking should be
relaxed. This will result to a modulated voice.Fluency – the smooth, easy, and ready flow of
utterances.Flexibility – proper use of the aspects of voice
such as pitch, rate, volume and quality which enhances the meaning and the mood to be conveyed by the speaker.

preparation2. Manuscript Reading – ‘read speech’; during

4. Extemporaneous Speech – spontaneous and natural
Some tips for effective deliveryeffective delivery1. Direct eye contact with your audience to show
interest in them.2. Facial expression should be on the “happy” side.3. Hands should be relaxed.4. Check your visual posture.5. Have a positive attitude.6. Speak with an audible voice.7. Deliver your speech with aplomb.
Making the speech effective1. Consider your audience.2. Be brief and simple.3. Use quotation and figures of speech
