How to increase effectiveness

The best way to communicate in a social conversation is to

contribute one's opinions and experiences while

simultaneously listening to the other's viewpoints.

Nonverbal communication such as facial expressions and voice tone are also important when speaking. Such

nonverbal communication is especially important when

listening to another, as it demonstrates you are engaged in

the conversation and care about what the speaker is saying.
