Based on feedback from stakeholders, the Commission has limited the eFiling Alpha Pilot data collection The pilot will include a minimum set of targeting/enforcement data for regulated finished products and specified finished products included on the Substantial Product Hazard (SPH) list established under section15(j) of the CPSA:hand-supported hair dryersextension cordsseasonal decorative lighting products

The initial intent of this Pilot was to require electronic filing of Certificates of Compliance

Identification of the finished productEach applicable consumer product safety rule to which the product is certifiedPlace of manufacture/production/assembly, including identity and address of the manufacturerThe name and contact information of the testing facility on which the certificate dependsA checkbox to show that a required certificate exists

5Regulated Products - DataFive mandatory pieces of information will be required for Regulated Products in the eFiling Alpha Pilot:

Identification of the finished productPlace of manufacture/ production/assembly, including identity and address of the manufacturer

615(j) Products - DataTwo mandatory pieces of information will be required for three specified SPH listed finished products in the eFiling Alpha Pilot:

7Whats the Same?The CPSC eFiling Alpha Pilot will use CBPs ACE system for filers to electronically file dataA Product Data Registry will allow stakeholders to file the required data in advance of filing entry (with a reference number filed at time of filing entry)Information specific to CPSC will be submitted via the PGA Message Set one of two ways:Full PGA Message Set orReference PGA Message Set with CPSC Data Registry
