Basic Game Play
Game play starts when the roulette wheel is spun. The reader head detects thespinning wheel and synchronizes to the wheel. When the ball is put in play by thedealer, an animation starts playing wishing the players good luck, after the ball hasslowed down to a pre-configured rate (via menus), the No More Bets animation is
played. This lets players know that no more bets are allowed on the table. Once theball lands on a winning number, it is read by the reader head. The winning number isdisplayed in the game history column of the display, and then a series of gamestatistics are displayed in the game play window. The game statistics show, whichplay areas on the table were winners, and displays odds, and hot numbers.

To install the e-FX Control Box:
1. Determine the best location under the roulette table for the control box. Somethings to consider before mounting the control box are:
• The location of the LCD display
• Distance from the display, power outlet, and card reader so that all cords andcables can reach the control box
Important When installing the e-FX Control Box, proper airflow must be provided. DO NOT install this product inside a non-ventilated enclosure. Ambient temperature, with theunit in operation, may not exceed 110 degrees F. Also, DO NOT install this unit in amanner that blocks the cooling fan and ventilation holes.
2. Attach the Control Box Mounting Brackets to the sides of the e-FX Control Boxwith the screws provided.
3. Hold the control box in position under the table and with a pencil, mark thepositions of the Mounting Bracket holes on the bottom of the roulette table.
4. Drill small pilot holes for the mounting screws.
5. Mount the e-FX Display Control Box in position with the provided mounting

The e-FX Resource Editor
The e-FX Resource Editor is a software program that is installed on anAdministrator’s computer. The e-FX Resource Editor makes it possible to create andmaintain dealer lists, manage user accounts, change ticker text, load custom companylogos, and load animation graphics and movies, and then transfer this information to
the e-FX system.
The Resource Editor stores all the graphics, account information, dealer lists, andticker text in a file called resource.efx. The resource.efx file is then copied toremovable media such as a USB thumbdrive, CD ROM or DVD ROM for transfer tothe e-FX system.
When a USB thumbdrive or a CD/DVD containing the file resource.efx is detectedby the e-FX, the new resources are automatically installed without any userintervention.
Note: The file resource.efx must be located in the top level (root) of the thumbdrive, CD, DVD or removable media. If resource.efx is not located in the top level, the e-FX willnot detect it, and the update will not occur.
You can create complete resource files that contain all the components (scripts,Dealer Lists, Ticker text, Attract Movies, etc.), or you can create resources that onlycontain only one component. For example, if you only wanted to change the tickertext on an e-FX system, you could use the resource editor to create a ticker textresource and upload it to the e-FX system. None of the other resource components, such as the Dealer List, would be affected.
Setting Up User Accounts
User Accounts are set up for administrators, managers, and dealers via the e-FXResource Editor Program. The accounts are stored in a dealer list.
Important: You should maintain a master dealer list on your PC. This will help in keeping anaccurate list of dealers and facilitate making changes to the list.

9. Navigate to the folder containing the image for the dealer. Select the image andclick on Open. The Open window closes and you are returned to the DealerEditor window with the new image of the dealer displayed.
