NSDL e-Gov works closely with various Government agencies for designing, managing and implementing e-Governance projects. eSign service is an online electronic signature service to digitally sign documents. NSDL e-Gov has been empaneled by Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) to provide eSign Services. eSign aims at

transforming the use of digital signatures and promote paperless digital environment.

National Pension System (NPS)

NPS, regulated by PFRDA, is an important milestone in the development of a sustainable and efficient defined contribution pension system in India. NSDL e-Gov acts as the Central

Recordkeeping (CRA) under NPS.

NSDL e-Governance has been entrusted by the Income Tax Department (ITD) for acceptance and processing of Permanent Account Number (PAN) applications. NSDL

e-Governance accepts PAN applications through its nationwide network of TIN-FCs & PAN Centre’s spread across India. NSDL e-Governance has also provided a facility to

submit PAN applications online on its website. NSDL e-Governance also provides online PAN verification service for verification of PANs to authorized entities.

Vidya Lakshmi is a first of its kind portal for students seeking education loan. This portal has been developed under the guidance of Department of Financial services

(Ministry of Finance), Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and Indian Banks' Association (IBA). The portal has been developed and

maintained by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited. The portal also hosts a link (National Scholarship Portal) for students seeking government scholarships. With Vidya

Lakshmi students can apply to multiple banks and different schemes of Education Loan through a single application form.

Vidya Kaushal

Vidya Kaushal is a first of its kind platform developed to enable any Indian individual to apply for financial assistance / loan to pursue Skill development training courses. This

unique platform aims to provide truly seamless access to funding of loans, aligned with the national vision of developing a skilled India, creating greater employment

opportunities and employable skills.

Vidyasaarathi, an initiative by NSDL e-Gov has a potential to bridge the gap in education finance in the country. It is an online platform that proposes to effectively bring together

various stakeholders in the education ecosystem and is positioned as a user friendly, transparent, and demand driven platform which will help the corporate sector in playing a

positive role in developing education finance for the Indian society at large.

NSDL e-Governance was identified by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) to undertake the key responsibility of the Central Recordkeeping Agency (CRA) for the National Pension System (NPS). NSDL e-Governance has established a strong IT infrastructure backbone, handling the administration and customer service functions for all subscribers of the NPS.

NSDL e-Gov introduced the Electronic Accounting System in Excise & Service Tax (EASIEST) on behalf of Central Board of Excise & Customs (CBEC), Ministry of Finance, Government of India to establish a facility for receiving online information on collection of indirect taxes (excise and customs) from the banks' and to provide reports to enable the department in monitoring tax compliance.

NSDl e-Gov has been appointed as a registrar of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to facilitate registration of residents for obtaining Aadhaar. These services are offered through enrolment agencies empaneled with UIDAI and operate through a network of of enrolment centers.

As a Registrar appointed by UIDAI, NSDL e-Governance also offers services like Aadhaar Authentication and e-KYC Services. The purpose of Aadhaar authentication / e-KYC services is to enable residents to provide their identity in a seamless manner . It also helps service providers to offer services and give access to the benefits given by the Government. Aadhaar authentication and e-KYC services have wide applications.

NSDL e-Gov has established a system, procedure and infrastructure for all the tax collecting banks to electronically upload the details about the tax collected on a daily basis, called asthe Online Tax accounting Sysytem (OLTAS). A network of Facilitation Centers (TIN-FCs) set-up across India serves as an interface to the taxpayers and an online facility helps to file TDS/TCS?Form 24G statements directly.

NSDL e-Gov had undertaken the GST Pilot project for Govt. of India during the year 2011 to 2014. In the year 2017, NSDL e-Governance was shortlisted by the Govt. of India as a GST Suvidha Provider (GSP). In addition to GSP services, NSDL e-Gov also provides Application Service Provider (ASP) services for facilitating GST compliance by the dealer, Tax Return Preparers (TRPs) and Tax consultants. ASP services facilitates acceptance of data in various formats, converts it to the required formats as desired by GSTN (GST Network) and files the same with GSTN. NSDL e-Governance provides innovative and convenient methods to taxpayers and other stakeholders for interacting with the GST systems from uploading of invoice details, filing of returns and reconciliation.

Revenue Management System (RMS)NSDL e-Governance has developed a centralized hosted application for Department Of Telecommunications (DoT). This Revenue Management System (RMS) enhances delivery efficiency with standardizing existing process by improving customer service and user experience for stakeholders and increasing overall revenue collection for the government.

Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India has engaged NSDL e-Governance as the Implementation Agency for Design, Development and Maintenance of Work Flow Management System and the CBFC website. The system captures end-to-end departmental procedures associated with the certification process. This system also helps to reduce administrative hassles, increase transparency and minimize need of interaction between the officers at CBFC Regional Offices and the applicants (producers/agents).

NSDL e-Governance has been assigned by the Income Tax Department, Govt. of India a unique and prestigious project to implement and operate the National Judicial Reference System (NJRS). The project involves conceptualizing, development and operation of the NJRS system as well as management of content. NJRS provides a state of the art mechanism to manage Tax Appeals through an Appeals Repository and Management System and a ready reference of past Judgements.
