Advertisement Design: Pots & Pans
About the Project: Create a full-page advertisement using our own studio photos. This ad targets local customers at a kitchen supply store. I designed an original logo for the store “Pots & Pans”, wrote the ad copy, and recreated the photo from one in a well-known company’s catalog.

Rebranding Campaign: The Chocolate Boutique
Logo Design: Custom Sewn Products
About the Project: As a graphic design intern, I designed a logo for Custom Sewn Products that will serve as the foundation for an upcoming rebranding initiative. They asked for a logo that conveyed they are capable of designing, engineering and producing a variety of sewn and sealed products.
About the Project: Design a new logo and marketing material for The Chocolate Boutique, a fictional chocolatier in Upstate New York.
This design features a hand-lettered custom font created for the Boutique. It also incorporates an icon representing their signature “Nutbox”, a box of ten nut clusters dipped in dark, milk, or white chocolate.

Take Exit 10 off of I-90. Head East on Miller Road for 2.4 miles to the end. (It is a true country road: twisty and bumpy.) Turn RIGHT onto NY Rt. 151. Follow for 1.5 miles to the end of Rt. 151. Turn LEFT at the stop light, onto Rt. 150. Go 1.3 miles on Rt. 150, to the traffic light. Turn RIGHT onto County Route 50 (there is a quilt shop on the corner), and follow for 2.3 miles. to Miller’s Corners, where Route 50 becomes County Route 18 (there is no stop). Continue straight on Route 18 for .9 mile. Turn RIGHT on to Old Mill Pond Road (gravel). Follow this for about .2 of a mile. Bear RIGHT at the Y intersection, around the curve to the right, then up the hill to a second Y intersection. Bear LEFT at China Hill Road and continue for 1 mile. (There is a small sign for Eastfield Historic District posted on the right side of the road at .8 mile.) Turn LEFT into the drive for the Village, at the wooden fence. Guest parking will be in a field just beyond the first tree-line. There is no parking in the Village.

Baby Shower Invitation
A wedding was held at a private 18th-century village hidden in the country, and we wanted to provide a fun, personalized map that guests could reference in tandem with GPS navigation. A variety of software applications were used to create this, from Google Maps to Adobe InDesign.
Planning a baby shower for new parents who wanted to build a meaningful collection of children’s books, this was designed with a vintage library theme in mind, pulling inspiration from the card catalogue and checkout cards.

Logo & Ticket Design: Damn Yankees
Menu design: Create or redesign a menu for a local eatery
About the Project: The director requested a design that captured the spirit of a 1950’s baseball game ticket.
I chose to create a logo and menu design for a restaurant I wish was a local eatery.

I designed and quilted this small quilt. With the Disappearing Nine Patch block you can create many different designs, depending which way the pieces are oriented. In this version I opted for a simple layout so that the colors could play without competing with the design.

Beverage Label Design
About the Project: This bottle label was designed for a dark beer marketed to women. Here, the contrast between the stereotypes of what is considered “feminine” and the heavier brew found in a Porter is exaggerated.
