1. The Project

In line with the EHRA’s mission and following the very sensitive COVID-19 situation, the objective of this project is to make time sensitive scientific resources (publications, slides, e-Abstracts) available for consultation online to all healthcare professionals1. In this sense, a platform called EHRA Essentials4U will be launched from 9 April 2020, on which new scientific content will be posted every week and made available for a period of three months before being restricted to EHRA members, and without any restriction for a period of 1 year for Industry Essentials content (MyESC account is required to access resources). This platform will become THE comprehensive hub for all scientific content related to heart rhythm disturbances and clinical management.

The EHRA Essentials4U platform will gather the following content online:

1. Late Breaking Trials 2. EHRA Consensus Documents 3. Publications (e-Abstracts) 4. Industry Essentials (latest resources from industry partners in the field) 5. Any other scientific content identified by the EHRA Scientific committee from 9 April to 9

July Other sections will be added online related to the content published such as:

• News articles related to Late Breaking Science

• Link to online Abstract Supplement of the European Heart Journal – EP Europace (available in early June 2020)

• Social Media Wall

2. Objectives

The main objectives of EHRA Essentials4U are to:

• Provide HCPs worldwide with access to scientific resources from any region of the globe (in order to fulfil the ESC’s and EHRA’s mission to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease)

• Keep the community tuned in during the COVID-19 outbreak: content will be offered as a Stop and Watch resource to HCPs to take a break from the day-to-day realities of tackling COVID-19.

• Update heart rhythm professionals on the latest scientific content in the field of EP and arrhythmias

• Reach out to a wider scope of doctors/participants through free access • Allow doctors to watch scientific content at any time of the day (VOD) as they are added

online via ESC/EHRA Essentials4U web pages weekly • Offer industry partners the opportunity to actively participate in this special scientific platform

by sending their own Industry content to be hosted on the dedicated EHRA Essentials4U platform

1 HealthCare Professionals (HCPs). The target audience will be all the HCPs interested in arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, syncope, device therapies and all other heart rhythm related topic, as well as those who participate in the previous EHRA Congresses.
