Sorry for the confusion, suffice to say the lack of clearly defined roles is a problem here. I can imagine the structure you are suggesting exist here, and it sounds functional and reasonable ... but unfortunately it doesn't actually exist here. That said the power of suggestion is a power indeed so I'm hoping this will raise awareness of how things could look and possibly move us more in that direction ie towards functionality.

A couple of things ...
Volunteers Insurance
Our current insurance only covers people up to the age of 65. The Volunteer Policy provided by Ace provides age limit extensions to 85. Jayatma thinks this is sensible, as do I. We need to find out what the change to the premium would be to cover the extension. As long as it is within reason we would make the change. I have emailed Debbie to follow up.
HR roles & contracts Spoke with Omdhyanam she's feeling out of the loop on things. Would appear that individual conversations have not had everyone arrive on the same page
and there's a need for a conversation between Omdhyanam, Gurubhakta, Bert

and me, to regroup and ensure everyone is clear on who's responsible for what and we have a realistic plan forward. Not immediately, a little space is
required at the moment but before any further steps around contracts, or HR roles are taken.
