EJTN ADMINISTRATIVE LAW PROJECT JUDICIAL TRAINING ON EU ASYLUM LAW

This day-and-a-half training will address the legal framework and key jurisprudential developments in the field of EU asylum law and policy. It will combine theoretical lectures with practical workshops focused on central issues arising from the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights, the assessment of country of origin information and the standards for credibility assessments. The workshop sessions will include a practical analysis of case-studies from both a legal and anthropological perspectives, joining EJTN
judicial training with the Max Plank Institute’s project on the role of cultural diversity in judicial practice. Participants to this event are expected to have a background understanding of the subject matter. This training seeks to operate as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and best practices among colleagues, the debate of key developments in this field, and the creation of lasting networks of judicial cooperation and understanding in one of the most pressing fields of judicial development in Europe.
