ENHANCED Electronic Home Monitoring provided by BI, Inc.– Provides additional correctional sanctions for

supervision and treatment vs. jail incarceration alone.– Allows for better management of limited jail space by

allowing qualified individuals to be confined in their home under strict supervision.

– Affords public safety at the offender’s expense.– Offers improved compliance rates due to intense

monitoring.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week curfew monitoring reports by BI, Inc. to Pretrial Supervision/Sheriff’s Office

– major violations reported within 4 business hours examples: re-

arrest, abscond, second positive drug and alcohol tests, missed court date

– technical violations reported next business day examples: missed

check-in, curfew violation, change of address, etc., without notification
