ECONOMICS LEADERS CONGRESS
The Economic Leaders Congress is a gathering of young leaders from all over
the Philippines who are committed to the mission of making a better and
brighter future for all Filipinos. United by a common goal, these leaders will
convene to establish an economic youth agenda that will help address the
challenges posed by the modern world and consequently strengthen the pathtowards the nation’s progress. The economic youth agenda will be presented
to various government officials and agencies, non-government organization
and advocacy groups for possible implementation.
THIS YEAR’S THEME:
“ Realizing the potential of the youth towards economic and national
progress”
The youth plays a vital role in the society. As future key components of
the nation, much is expected from them. In response to the challenges of the
modern world, young talented leaders convene in the first Economics Leaders
Congress to address the depressing issues the country is facing. Inspired and
motivated, theses leaders commit towards a combined effort in establishing a
youth agenda that will strengthen the path to the nation’s progress. Instilled
with moral values, such as integrity and credibility, the youth of today lives up
to be the hope of the nation, synergized in working towards one common
mission of making a better and brighter future for all Filipinos.

Council of Student Organizations, De La Salle University
The Economics Organization, commonly known as EconOrg, is the sole
professional organization of the School of Economics of De La Salle University
- Manila. It is the breeding ground of future business leaders, nation builders
and policy makers. The organization looks at being in dynamic synergy with
the School of Economics and their goals. It is a student research organization
that lobbies for growth and development of young economists, serving the
Lasallian community and the Philippine society.
School of Economics Government
University Student Government, De La Salle University
SEG is the supreme, autonomous, representative body of students in the
School of Economics. It has four primary functions:
a. Provide holistic development for students in SOE
b. Engage students in opportunities and avenues they would not get without
the Student Government, i.e., year-long advocacies, ties with external
organizations.
c. Be one with the Lasallian community in defining the Lasallian economist d.
Represent and defend all students with no bias
It is composed of people who collectively believe in the potential the School
of Economics has. As a unit, they work together to ensure that DLSU SOE
students truly become Lasallian achievers for God and country.
Konrad Adenauer Foundation
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) is a political foundation. In Germany, 16
regional offices and two conference centers offer a wide variety of civic
education conferences and events. At home as well as abroad, our civic
education programs aim at promoting freedom and liberty, peace, and justice.
We focus on consolidating democracy, the unification of Europe and the
strengthening of transatlantic relations, as well as on development
cooperation.
