From our humble beginnings in Nassjo (Sweden) in 1922, Eldon has certainly

developed into a significant provider of enclosures, however our ideology hasn’t

changed. Today’s management team believes in the same fundamental principles:

design, quality and customer satisfaction.

We are committed to a continuous improvement plan, and invest in new technol-

ogy wherever it is appropriate. Although automation is an important part of our

strategic plans, any potential project undergoes a strict evaluation before starting

HollandLocated in the Friesland Province in the North of Holland, Drachten is the centre

of excellence for manufacturing the complete range of our well-proven mild steel

floor standing enclosure Multi-Flex®. Opened in 1970, Drachten was the first fac-

tory to be built outside of Sweden. Regular expansion over the years and ongoing

investments into the latest technology means that the fully automated production

process is producing an ever-increasing number of enclosures every day.

EnglandOpened in 1985 in Rotherham, the home of Stainless Steel, production is entirely

devoted to of course, Stainless Steel. Using local materials and local skills built up

from generations of people working with this complex material, our Rotherham

facility uses the latest 3D CAD CAM technology to produce one of the largest range

of standard sized enclosures in the market. Small teams working in dedicated cells

means that production is flexible and reactive.

SpainLocated in the South of Spain, in Andalusia, Martos is a small but busy industrial

town surrounded by olive groves. The factory was originally built by HIMO S.A. in the

late 70’s to manufacture enclosures, and was acquired by Eldon in 1990. Manufacture of

the Multi-Mount® range of mild steel enclosures is completely automated, which means

the enclosures are punched, bent, welded and painted, without the need for any human

intervention. Every Multi-Mount® enclosure is uniquely painted inside and out using a

structured powder coating, to ensure the maximum protection against corrosion.

RomaniaOne of the largest recent investments has been to build an entirely new factory

on a green field site during 2006-7. Situated in the heart of Transylvania, Eldon

was the first company to move onto a new Industrial Estate in the town of Prejmer.

Romania will continue to grow and add further capacity to allow the Group to keep

pace with the current rising demand for enclosures.

Wall mounting enclosures, single door The Multi-Mount range of mild steel IP66 wall mounting enclosures has been designed with the user in mind. Practical, efficient and with a wide range of standard sizes and accessories available from stock, the Multi-Mount range offers a solution to virtually every application, or can be easily customised to suit specific requirements.

Material: Body: 1.2mm mild steel / 1.4mm MAS0606021R5 and above / 1.5mm MAS1008026R5 and above, and 400mm depth enclosures. Gland plate: 1.4mm mild steel. Door: 1.2mm mild steel / 1.4mm MAS0606021R5 and above / 1.8mm MAS1006026R5 and above. Mounting plate: 2mm galvanised steel.Body: Folded and seam welded. Four 8.5mm diameter holes for wall fixing, pressed out in 20.4mm diameter x 2mm depressions to allow air circulation around the rear part of the enclosure.Door: Surface mounted with 130º opening. Concealed removable hinges with captive pin. Hinges can be mounted to allow left or right hand opening. From size MAS0604015R5 and above there are two removable mounting profiles in the door. Sealing is ensured by an extruded one piece polyurethane gasket.Lock: Customised lock with double grip for easy opening of the door. DIN 3mm insert and 90º movement. 1000mm high enclosures and above have espagnolette three point locking.

Other inserts are available as an accessory.Mounting plate: The mounting plate is marked vertically at 10mm intervals for easy horizontal positioning of equipment. On the top and bottom there are holes to facilitate cable fixing. Fixed onto M8 press welded studs to the rear of the enclosure. All sides from 800mm and above are strengthened by folded edges. By using the AMG accessory the mounting plate position can be adjusted to any depth.Gland Plate Opening: Situated at the far rear of the enclosure to make cabling onto the mounting plate easier.Protection: Complies with IP 66 and NEMA 4, 12 and 13. It' s delivered on a pallet of exactly the same size so that it can be combined before the pallet is removed, and the mounting plate is on the outside so you can begin work immediately.

PF, Plinths, front/rear

Description: Front and rear plinth sections. For cabling without any restrictions and in accordance with the VDE 0113 standard. The plinth consists of four corner pieces with removable front covers. The side panels PS are to be ordered separately. Produced in 100 mm and 200 mm heights. 200 mm high plinths are delivered with a rear cover for cabling that consists of two removable panels 100 mm high. The front cover is a one piece panel of 200 mm high. All panels have double returns on each panel for added strength.Material: Corner pieces in 2 mm zinc plated steel, panels in 1.5 mm steel plate.Finish: Structure powder paint, RAL7022.Pack. quantity: 1 set of 4 corner pieces including covers. 1 front and 1 rear panel (2 rear panels for 200 mm, high plinths) with mounting material. Description: Universal profile for both depth and width fitting on the 25 mm DIN hole pattern of the enclosure frame or in combination with the VB profiles. The 75 mm wide profile is equipped with three rows of holes of which one is turned 90 degrees. This makes it possible to mount the CLPF profiles in both directions. CLPF, Mounting profile

Description: The CLPF profile system is a 40 mm wide and 25 mm high profile, which can be mounted in all directions in the enclosure frame. It can also be used in combination with the CLPK and the VB profiles. By turning the profile it can be used as a standard CP20/40 profile in combination with GLM 40/6 sliding nut, to mount installation material which needs adjusting in depth. The profiles, when mounted onto the enclosure frame are flush with the enclosure profiles. Two rows of hole patterns for cage nut fixing and self tapping screws are provided.
