Your Vote My No. 1 job is to ensure that we conduct fair and accurate elections for the citizens of Orange County. Encompassed in this enormous responsibility is our focus on election security, innovation, efficiencies, and transparency. We will keep fighting to keep the pledge that we deliver on our commitment to protect your vote, uphold voter rights and operate in an open environment. There are many components to that obligation – from our policies and procedures to your experience when casting your ballot – and everything in between. Above all, our highest responsibility is to count your vote and let your voice be heard. Neal KelleyRegistrar of VotersOrange County, CA

Our Responsibility A large part of our responsibility is to work diligently on election security, which is an extremely important part of our operations. There has been a great deal of attention on issues related to ballot integrity, voter registration systems, and ensuring the eligibility of voters. Orange County has been aggressively enacting security measures to protect our elections. We believe a proactive “ring of security” is critical to safeguard the millions of ballots that are cast in Orange County during each election cycle. We will continue to focus our resources on the protection of our election systems and overall election security. We remain committed and proud of our involvement at the forefront of election security planning and post-election auditing. We’ve developed tools for you to verify information in your voter record and track your ballot from start-to-finish. Plus, once the election is over, you can view up-to-the-minute results, maps, and data to help you track the progress of contests that you’re interested in.
