Electrical Construction A pprentice Program Earn nationally recognized journey- person credential. Part-time, evening classes, two nights per week. The Electrical Construction program prepares electricians to install electrical systems in structures, install wiring and other electrical components, such as circuit breaker panels, switches, and light fixtures, and follow blueprints, the National Electrical Code® and state and local codes. Individuals who complete the apprenticeship program, which consists of four years of related training and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training, are eligible to earn a Journeyperson credential through the Delaware Department of Labor.
