Electromagnetics EE261: Final Project An important component of this course is the drafting of report describing an application or experiment in electromagnetism. This report is to be submitted via email by December 19, 2015, 11:55 pm. Send your report (check that document is not larger than a few MB) to the email: [email protected], and label it according to this scheme: Project_Name_EM_Project The project can be related to any of the topics studied or discussed either in electro-static part or magneto-static part. A strong project will demonstrate understanding of topics covered in the class. You are free to choose an application of any concept or to run an experiment related to our course and explain the theory of work of this experiment/application. Project Regulations : 1- Reports received after the deadline will be rejected. 2-There is a limit of 10 single-sided pages for your report. 3- Students are required to work in teams of 8 to 10 students. Each team (not each student) should choose any application or experiment in electromagnetism. 4- No two teams are allowed to choose the same application/experiment. However, you can choose any application/experiment about the same concept (theory) but not the same application. 5- Each team will present his project. Discussion will be held directly after the deadline (December 19) and the details of the presentation will be announced later. Each team should bring his printed form of the report in the discussion day. 6- This project will be marked of 15 marks (50% of lab marks). 7- Creative ideas and experimental projects will be awarded a bonus up to 8 marks. Good Luck Dr. Ahmed Said

Electromagnetics EE261: Final Project

An important component of this course is the drafting of report describing an

application or experiment in electromagnetism. This report is to be submitted via

email by December 19, 2015, 11:55 pm. Send your report (check that document is

not larger than a few MB) to the email: [email protected], and label it

according to this scheme:

Project_Name_EM_Project

The project can be related to any of the topics studied or discussed either in

electro-static part or magneto-static part. A strong project will demonstrate

understanding of topics covered in the class. You are free to choose an application

of any concept or to run an experiment related to our course and explain the

theory of work of this experiment/application.

Project Regulations :

1- Reports received after the deadline will be rejected.

2-There is a limit of 10 single-sided pages for your report.

3- Students are required to work in teams of 8 to 10 students. Each team (not each

student) should choose any application or experiment in electromagnetism.

4- No two teams are allowed to choose the same application/experiment.

However, you can choose any application/experiment about the same concept

(theory) but not the same application.

5- Each team will present his project. Discussion will be held directly after the

deadline (December 19) and the details of the presentation will be announced later.

Each team should bring his printed form of the report in the discussion day.

6- This project will be marked of 15 marks (50% of lab marks).

7- Creative ideas and experimental projects will be awarded a bonus up to 8

marks.

Good Luck
