DIRECTIONS FOR USE:SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE

APPLICATION:Soil:5 to 10 litres per hectare.Dilute with water prior to use.

Foliar:Dilute 1 part Purakelp concentrate with 100 parts of water.Apply 2-8 litres per hectare.

Seed Treatment:4 litres per tonne of seed.

When mixing with other liquid fertilizers, testfor compatibility with a small quantity in a jar.

Do not store mixed product. For best results apply Purakelp before fertilizer application.

Trial results:Mega-Kel-P was foliar applied at 5 L/Ha twice at 2 cm growth & 10 cm growth (x2), or three times, with the 3rd application prior to flowering (x3). The result was a yield increase of 10.5% and 13.4% respectively. Using a sale value of $350/t for the shiraz, this lead to additional gross margin of over $800/ha or $1000/ha for the two treatments, after deducting the cost of the Mega-Kel-P.

Trial results: In an independently run replicated trial, three kelp-based products at two rates each were foliar applied at 2cm and 10cm growth stages. The assessment focused on increasing bunch length.

Mega-Kel-P at both rates of application significantly increased the bunch length by 10% by mid-November, and decreased the amount of bunches under 20cm in length from 50% to 29%.

Purakelp at the high rate also gave an increase in bunch length.

Using Mega-Kel-P to stretch bunches “naturally” reduces the need for potentially damaging extra GA applications. This gives better bunch management options, with superior sized bunches, improving marketability and returns for the final product.
