Dear Falcon Family,

During this trying time, we have prepared to support distance learning for all of our Los Fresnos CISD students. Our teachers have created packets to keep our students engaged and learning. These packets can be accessed on our district website (www.lfcisd.net) and printed at home, picked up at your campuses (March 27), or dropped off at bus stops (March 30) with student meals. We are asking that these assignments be completed by April 10th. Teachers will check for completion by email or Class Dojo.

In an effort to support continued learning, we will also have:

● Free Wi-Fi available from the parking lot of each campus ● Accelerated Reader available for at home quizzes

While we miss our students dearly, we hope these learning experiences support the progress of each student toward the grade level’s academic goals. We appreciate your continued support and understanding during this time.

Querida familia Falcon, Durante este tiempo difícil, nos hemos preparado para apoyar el aprendizaje a distancia para todos nuestros estudiantes en Los Fresnos CISD. Nuestros profesores han creado paquetes para mantener a nuestros estudiantes comprometidos y aprendiendo. Estos paquetes se pueden acceder en nuestro sitio web del distrito (www.lfcisd.net) e imprimirse en casa, recogerlos en sus escuelas (27 de marzo) o recogerlos en las paradas del autobús (30 de marzo) cuando se entreguen las comidas a los estudiantes. Math ● Use cards, dice, or a piece of paper to get four random numbers and another extra

card for it to be the divisor. (example 6473 divided by 3) ● Create 10 problems and journal your answers (show your work)

Science ● Magnetism: Use any type of magnet you can find at home (such as refrigerator

magnets). Collect about ten items found at home made of different materials. In a journal, make a chart, and predict which item would be magnetic or not.
