What’s up everyone? Welcome to the Way Station! • You came at the perfect time, because this is the first week of

our series “Turn it Up”. • For this series, we will be going through the incredible TRUE story

of how God made a plan for us to be with Him. • To celebrate, let me hear you turn it up by making some noise! • Great! Now as we get started, let’s pray.

Lead kids in Prayer TIU_Game

This series is all about making some noise because God’s Good News is for everyone! So we are going to start off by making some beats. We will divide up into four different teams. Each team will have to make a certain beat when it’s your turn. You’ll know it’s your turn when your team’s icon goes to the bottom of the screen. The four beats are a sound like a clap, a high hat ‘chhhhh’ sound, a stomp, or a shout like this, whooo!!! Let’s play! Divide the kids into four teams and assign each group one of the sounds: clap, ‘chhhh’, stomp, and shout.

TIU_Lesson • Nice beats everyone! Separately, the beats might not sound like

much, but together it sounds awesome. • That is like the stories found in the Bible. The true stories in the

Bible are great on their own, but they really all weave into a BIGGER and GREATER story.

• This is the story of creation. The story of God making everything! Humans messed the story up with sin, but God, who loves you so much, made a plan to make everything right again. Let’s start at the beginning.

The Bible tells us God created everything, including you and me, and He is in charge of everything. So, if God is in charge of everything and we mess up, do you think that God knows how to fix it? (Wait for response) He sure does! And that’s part of His plan for us!

TIU_Worship I am so excited for us to learn our new worship songs for this series. The songs are called Flawless, Drops in the Ocean, and The Stand. These songs all point us to Jesus and His love for us. Before we begin our time of worship, I want you to check out this video for Flawless so you really understand what it’s about.

Now we aren’t suppose to just hear from God’s Word and leave it at church. We can be the light to others wherever we go. For this month, our Family Mission is to do a Family Prayer Walk. What is that? We are asking you and your family to walk around your neighborhood and pray for your neighbors. I’m going to get this mission started by praying for your neighbors right now! Let’s pray. Dear God, thank You for each of these kids. I know that you care about all of their neighbors. I pray that you will give the kids and their families courage to shine like lights for you in their neighborhoods. Please remind them to love their neighbors and to talk to their neighbors about You. We love You! In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
