Arnott’s corporate history dates back to 1989 when founder Adam Arnott developed his first air suspension replacement product to fix his father’s car.

For 2018, Harley-Davidson® has combined the popular old school look of the Softail with the handling and comfortof the Dyna® to produce an all-new line of bikes sure to impress both old and new riders. NEW KITS FOR THE 2018 SOFTAIL!

Arnott’s second-generation air suspension kits for 2001-2017 Softail models provide maximum adjustability for better lowering capabilities, and smoother ride quality. At the core of this new patent-pending system is a custom nitrogen-charged FOX® shock absorber paired with a separate Goodyear® air spring in a protective case. Arnott inflates the air spring with a large compressor which is mounted to the regulator/rectifier and protected by an attractive chin guard.

OE Air-Assisted: Today, many touring bikes include stock air-assisted shocks. They are typically built with a cylinder containing a coil spring, oil and compressed air which requires a hand pump and can only be filled to about 50 psi before a seal is blown. Arnott’s assembly has a separate air bladder for ride height and firmness adjustment. Arnott’s shocks can be raised and lowered through the shock’s full travel with the on-board compressor and inflation switch. Riders can quickly lower their bike while stopping or parking and adjust the air spring’s pressure to accommodate added weight or adverse road conditions, enhancing ride quality and safety.Air Canister/Cylinder: Simple air canisters or cylinder shocks contain an aluminum chamber which only raises and lowers the bike. Neither offer the ability to dampen bumps, so motion is not controlled This leads to bouncy rides and severe topping over bumps which is dangerous, especially during evasive maneuvers or hard riding. Arnott TruAIR Technology offers true adjustable air suspension. Arnott’s design includes hydraulic shocks to dampen the impact of road imperfections while keeping the rear tire firmly on the ground.
