80-20 Rules
It usually takes 4 to 5 years of intensive and continuously learning to attain native proficiency. However, most of the working professionals may not have the luxury for this. How strong your foundation is for the first 12-18 months (20% of the 5 years), will determine your success of mastering Chinese (80%).
In the critical FIRST YEAR, we build the foundation with phonetic pinyin, sentence structures, the logic patterns and essence of Chinese. The result is your ability to converse in most daily settings and expressing your views fluently.
This means the language will stay with you for life. .

The Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) test was launched by Hanban (Chinese Language Council International) in an effort to better serve Chinese language learners.
