• Once a student has 5 unexcused or unverified absences, a AIP meeting with the administration, parent and student will occur.

• At 6 unexcused/unverified absences (after the AIP meeting was held, there will be an ITM meeting at the county offices with the truancy officer.

• At 15 absences total of any type (excused, notes, doctors’ excuses, etc) – there will be an AIP meeting at the school with administration, the parent and student.

• After a student has been through an AIP (Attendance Improvement Plan) and an ITM (Interdisciplinary Truancy Meeting) at the central office, and another unexcused/unverified absence occurs, court action is initiated by Mr. Bojanich at the school board office.
