TRANSCRIPT
Edgenuity® is proud to partner with Middlebury Interactive Languages™ to offer schools a new way to boost learning
outcomes for English language learners (ELLs). This standards-based blended learning curriculum focuses on the
fundamentals of academic English and literacy development for students in grades 4–10.
Students will complete age-appropriate projects that relate to core instruction through a culturally inclusive curriculum
that favors multicultural perspectives. Courses align with WIDA and the Common Core standards, and are focused
on basic interpersonal communication skills and cognitive academic language proficiency, so students learn both the
social and academic aspects of the English language.
By learning through a combination of individualized task-based activities and collaborative project-based learning,
students develop critical thinking, reading, writing, and communication skills, and improve their English.
