It is a great pleasure to give to you another awesome issue. This issue Ellements Magazine is focusing on fashion; seeing that we are in the ‘Fashion Week’ season it is so fitting to join in the fun.

For this issue we have compiled a great collection of “High End” Artists; Published Photographers and Celebrity Makeup Artists. We are also featuring models who are on the rise; the collection is inspir-ing and full of creativity.

Our cover story is about a UK based Photog-rapher, who has graced the pages of many Magazines around the world. She is creative, hard working and fun.

I hope as you read this issue, you will be inspired, energized and motivated. This is what the team had in mind when we started out on this journey.

We have something mind-blowing for our next issue, we will be focusing on the art and culture of Carnival. Included in this issue is a sneak peak of what to come in the Carnival issue.

Enjoy,

ROSSELLA VANONan internationally acclaimed and published fashion and beauty photographer

Cover Story

Page 27: Ellements Magazine - February Issue

27 www.ellementsmagazine.com

Rossella Vanon is an internationally acclaimed and published fashion and beauty photogra-pher, born in a sunny small city in the centre of Italy. Her love for art has been clear since the very early days and her deep adoration for the ‘creative’ grew stronger and stronger year after year, and slowly turned into a little colourful ad-diction to nurture and cherish everyday.

Rossella has worked alongside some of the most professional teams in the industry and has built an extensive client list over the years. Her work is published in over twenty national and international magazines and her name is now well known in fashion blogs and photo communi-ties all over the internet.

At a close look, her art appears as a subtle visual representation of herself: attentive to de-tails, susceptible to light changes, colourful, soft and romantic but with an edgy, sharp, strong side. It is work that comes from brainstorming and then filtered through emotions, images that

are a little introspective journey and have a long story to tell. Her editorials fluctuate between dream and reality, in the search for a dimension where the two finally meet and coexist, giving birth to new characters, shapes and percep-tions. Briefs meet with fantasy and deadlines meet with imagination, in a process meant to create the unique and establish new emotional perspectives.

Rossella keeps on striving for perfection and is always looking forward to experimenting new techniques, meeting new creative minds, adopting new visions and improving her work and her experience in the world of art. She is currently more and more involved in the fashion editorial side of the industry and is also running and teaching fashion photography classes and workshops in London, UK.

ow long have you been doing photography? I have been experimenting behind the lens for more than 5 years, but

since incorporating my business in August 2010, I’ve become more seri-ous about it.

What is your preferred subject to photograph? Why? People of course. I think being able to capture emotions and beautiful moments are a huge part of what makes photography great.

What is your most memorable mo-ment being a photographer? I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful horse two years ago. I’m an advocate for all animals, and to be in the pres-ence of one so graceful is a day I will never forget.

H of them and tell how the experience was. I have photographed Drew Seeley of High School Musical, he was a blast to work with. I recently worked with the phenomonal WWE Diva, Jillian Hall. She was a natural in front of the camera!

Give us a virtual tour of your studio, what would we find in there? My studio is an oversized space with a few different backdrops, lighting equipment and a small vanity area. It’s definitely a comfortable space to work in and also has room for clients to relax.

Do you think that a person must possess talent to capture emotion and expression in a picture? Without a doubt.

What would you say is your style of photography? What makes it unique to you? I consider my style to be an ex-tension of my own personality; diverse and innovative, but some people may call it eclectic. I’m always trying new techniques and never skipping an op-portunity to learn. To me you can never truly be unique if you work inside a box.

Who is your mentor/Inspiration in photography? I admire the work of Hugo Burnand and Anne Geddes, they both do a great job of capturing emotions and realness in their photos. However, my clients are my biggest inspiration. They have confidence in my work, and it’s important to me to continue to deliver quality images.

Have you photographed any celebrity to date? If more than 2, mention 2

What makes a good photographer in your opinion? One that studies their craft, is comfortable and knowledgeable with the equipment and understands the impor-tance of controlling the light.

What motivates you to do what you do? Seeing my clients happy gives me the drive to work hard. When they come back for more or recommend their family and friends is also very rewarding. I love that what started as a hobby has transformed into such an incredible career.

How would you define fashion? If you should style yourself to go to a fashion event what would your wardrobe be?

Fashion is being able to express yorself through your appearance. My personal style is very casual and chic. I like to be comfortable and still turn heads!

Tell us and our readers who/what Nata-sha Smith/PlushGlamour INC is. Natasha Smith/PlushGlamour Inc., is a full-service photography that takes beautiful moments and transforms them into lasting memo-ries. It’s my goal give people a product that will last a lifetime.

t ulian B.T Scott better known as Juice B. Scott was born in Philadephia, PA November 11, 1985. He hold a strong passion for the arts that stems from

an early age. For as long as he can remem-ber, Julian knew that his destiny would be in the arts he just had to find his way to his dream. He also always believed that he was destined for greatness through his love for the arts and his love for always wanting to help people. He aspires to become a sucess-ful film director and also plans to add acting to his list of accomplishments as well, while still going far in Photography and Modeling. Tell us about yourself, and why did you choose to become a model. Modeling was always a vision I had but, I did not pursue this dream until I reached the age of 18. The timing was always off, and I felt that I didn’t have enough support or an elaborate portfolio. My drive for modeling came after not want-ing to listen to the naysayers any longer. I finally decided that if I wanted it bad enough I had to work harder for it.

What are your specifications (STATS)? Height 5’7, Bust 31 Waist 25, Hips 35

What projects have you worked on as a model? I have at-tended a variety of photo shoots, as well as still modeling, and have participated in numerous fashion shows.

What are your most outstanding features, both physical and socially?

My cheekbones to me are my most outstanding physical feature. They accentuate my smile and bring definition to my eyes. My most outstanding social feature(s) are that I am an assertive person and I lift spirits for everyone with whom I come in contact with. I love having fun and experiencing new and exciting things and people.

What has been your most interesting experience as a model? Honestly it’s the love of the profession. But if I had to pinpoint just a few, I’d have to say: I’ve traveled to a number of different cities and venues. And, I’ve enjoyed myself while doing this. I’ve met new and exciting people and gained some useful knowledge.

What are your likes and dislikes? I dislike the fact that some do not practice humbleness. Being humble is a way of life and it should be taught and instilled in each and every one of us; it should be implied.

I like the new experiences that are given to up and coming amateur models in the business. It makes me feel as though it’s not always about one’s self. And, the fact that you interact with people from all walks of life.

Ellements Magazine being a fashion Magazine, what is your definition and taste in fashion? My taste in fashion is anything unique and extraordinary. I want to be the first to model it. When it’s in the know I want to have already sampled it and find things to tweak it with and design a whole new world. My definition of fashion is: style, sophistication, and being adventurous as well as unique. I adore fashion and what it has to offer.

If there was one brand or company you would love to work with, what would it be?Not to sound so cliché but I would love to model for Victoria’s Secret. These models seem to receive so much exposure. The catalogs are shipped throughout the world and I want to be the next “Sexy Angel”.

If there was one model’s shoe you would love to be in whom would it be? Tyra banks would have to be my choice. Not only is she a phenomenal actress and model, but she is a wonderful role model and mentor. Her programs have inspired numerous young women. She broke a barrier and became the first ever African-American model to grace the cover of a Victoria’s Secret cata-log. And that inspires me to keep trudging on.

Share with us 3 things that the pub-lic/your fans don’t know about you. I’m camera shy. ( But you would never know because I love the art of modeling)Although I work at Fenway Park…I know nothing about Baseball nor do I enjoy the game. I enjoy working with the elderly.

I want to be the next

“Sexy Angel”
