What does this service offer?Aphasia is the communication disabilitythat is common after a stroke. It affectspeople in different ways but can be adevastating condition that can alter allareas of life – such as buying a newspaper,family relationships, or returning to work. If you or someone you care about hasaphasia, we can work with you to help youcommunicate better. We can offer socialsupport from people in a similar situationand practical tools to help you rebuildconfidence and develop new ways ofcommunicating. Who is this service for?
