Maths At Ellesmere Park
All of our staff are committed to teaching Maths in ways that will help children to appreciate the beauty of the subject. We strive to help pupils understand Mathematics rather than memorising it.
We feel that this approach better prepares young people for a world where an ability to solve problems, manipulate figures and use the day to day skills associated with money and time is invaluable.All students are taught in sets throughout their 5 years.

Key Stage 4 Maths
In Maths at Key Stage 4, students follow the Pearson Edexcel Mathematics Suite of examinations. From Summer 2017, GCSE English will use the 1 – 9 grading scale.
The new examinations will be through the Pearson Edexcel Mathematics syllabus.

Key Stage 4 Business Studies
BTEC Business Studies at Ellesmere Park High School is designed for students to learn the skills required skills for running a business, such as: managing money, advertising and employing staff.
There are many types of business in the UK, ranging from small firms owned and run by just one self-employed person, through to large companies which employ thousands of staff all over the world.

Computing is an integral part of our curriculum offer and as such all students follow a computing based course in all year groups. Students in Years 10 and 11follow the Pearson Edexcel ICT Syllabus.
