window pane.• Really concentrating and tasting chocolate when

she eats it.• Smelling the bubblebath when she is laid in the

bath.• Feeling the fur on her teddy bear.

Taking notice of things around you right now, in the present moment, is also called mindfulness. You might have heard of it. It is a really good way to boost your

happiness. It is calming and relaxing and it takes your mind off any worrying thoughts.

How can you be more mindful? How can you take notice of things

more? What can you do? Just take a minute now

and be mindful. What can

you see? Hear? Feel? After one minute talk to the person next to you

and tell them.

You can even keep a mindfulness diary and concentrate on each of your senses. Our senses are sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. Each day record something

for each of your senses.
