The Beginning- Born: January 8th 1935 (Tupelo-
Mississipi)- Family moves to Memphis-
Tennessee (1948)- Elvis pays Sun Records Studio
to get a first register of his voice in an acetate record (1954)
- Sam Phillips produces the first Elvis’ recordings
- Elvis’ new manager, Col. Tom Parker, moves him to RCA Victor.
1956-1959: RCA Victor & Elvismania
- First LP album (the first LP to sell over one million units)
- Hysteria among female fans (Elvismania)
- “From Waist Up” TV presentations – Elvis The Pelvis
- 100 % of albuns reached # 1 in charts.
- The King Of Rock'n'Roll.- First Hollywood films for MGM
and Paramount studios.- US Army and mother's death.
1960-1967: Hollywood Career- 3 or 4 films per
year with low investment.

1968-1972: The Comeback Special, Las Vegas & “Elvis On Tour”

- Since 1970: A contract of 2 (two) seasons per year of shows in Las Vegas (always sold out)
- Documentary film Elvis On Tour (1972 Golden Globe winner)
1973: Aloha From Hawaii
- First show broadcasted via sattelite
- 1,5 billion of viewers - One of the best sellers albuns
in music history (recorded live)
- “My Way”, “What Now My Love”, “I Can't Stop Loving You”, “Something”, and others.
1974-1977: Decline & Death
- Drug Abuse- Obesity- Poor Quality Studio Recordings- Weak Live Performances - Found Dead: August 16th 1977
