Con referenda at Tratado de Amistad que heroos firmado hoy en representacion de m~estros· respectivos Gobiemos. tengo el honor d~ expresar a VuestralExcelencia que 631a inteligencia del Gbbierno de China:
Primero: Que el Gobierno cubano adcptara 1a legislacion necesaria, tan pronto como sea posible. que haga efecfivo 10 estipu]ado en e1 Articulo V, y que, hasta tanto se adopte dicha legislacion, 'quedar€m en vigor s610 con caracter provisional las disposiciones legales que rigen en 1a materia, pero, bien enten~ dido que de tales disposiciones. las que puedan ser interpIetades como discrithinatorias contra Jos nacionales de Ia Republica de China no seran aplicadas contra dichos nacionales;' y
Segundo:- Quo la presente Nota y 1a respuesta de Vuestra Excelencia en idimtico senticlo quedar€m en vigor durante ·ues alios: que seis .meses antes del vencimiento de dicho pedodo cualqwera de las partes podra notificar a 1.1 otra de su intenci6n de modificarlas 0 terminarlas; y que de 110 producirse dicha noti* fleacion por ninguna de las partes. la::; Notas permauecetan en efecto hasta seis meses despues del aviso de su terminacion en cualquJer momento pOl' cualquiera do las partes.
