Response
A lockdown can be called for a variety of reasons by both the
Fremont police and/orschool and district staff. It may be called due
to events happening either at LeitchElementary School or in the
community around the school. If a lock down is called, allstudents
and staff will immediately get indoors and all doors will be
locked.Everyone willstay where they are until the lock down is
lifted. Parent Response Do not attempt to come on campus as doors
will not be opened and no children will bereleased. Do not try to
call the school as office staff will be busy and potentially the
phone lines willbe in use. Communication In the event of an
emergency, there are several different methods we will use
tocommunicate what is going on. The automated phone call system can
be used by both the school and the school district(Bright Arrow).
