Email: [email protected]

Throughout my entire life I have been a dreamer about new technologies and their usages. I’ve always wanted to build something useful for people that would become important in some task. Advices and choices pointed me to be an Engineer, a very important role for humanity, but still I couldn’t achieve the first will. Fact is that nothing comes out from a steady mind. The first lecture on the Entrepreneurship class has showed us that most people have great ideas, some of them seem too fantasy, others very possible, but still ideas. A leap is what keeps those people of becoming an entrepreneur, the courage to step ahead and spread their ideas, discuss with others and improve it. Our fellow classmates have started this process by sharing some ideas they have had in the past and even some complains about issues yet to be solved. Nothing better than a common problem for opening a great business.

Have Good Contacts

Very few can be accomplished alone. Although I can be good in several things, in life we make things easier when working together, better yet with someone who excels more than you in a specific skill. Be ready help others, but also to ask for help. Those friends you’ve made at high school but went on a different major than you may be still great contacts for your job. In an entrepreneur life knowledge is a very wide thing, no one will know everything, so make sure to bring people together to help you achieving better results on your job.

Know your Strengths Well, Your Weaknesses Better

It is a great feeling when your boss asks you something you should know and you give the best of the answers. Remember, that actually is your job. But what if a new problem has come up and none of your colleagues have a clue of how to approach it? So be a multi knowledge person, read, attend and live new experiences, learn about geography, watch an ancient discovery about life on earth, build a house on a tree. Whatever you do, that experience will be handy in the future, you’ll be more prepared to face something either at work or even at home. Knowledge is never too much.

Get Your Ideas Out into the World

Whenever you feel like you can solve a problem or help people’s life take immediate action. Email that colleague you once talked about this issue, call a friend that may be of interest, have a meeting. The faster you do something to make your ideal real, the more likely it will be. People who you discuss it with may also have good ideas that you haven’t had and help you improve it. Or even point out a weaknesses you haven’t realized before, either that makes you enhance your proposed solution or make you give up on that. Fact is that dozens of ideas come and go so one can be really put into practice.

Don’t feel disappointed if that great idea you once had became a failure minutes later, whenever you feel nothing is going to work, everything comes into place and you see yourself a successful inventor.

Lecture Feedback

I truly appreciated to know better about my classmates’ path to the Entrepreneurship class. I could realize I share some of the willing to make a difference with most of them. The lecturer Dr. John Giddings has showed to be a very enthusiastic and welcoming person to discuss about the entrepreneurship path in life. His career path is remarkable and makes me confident I am giving the best next step into my entrepreneur me.
