For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to work with teenagers. I’ve been

told that it takes a special person to do this. I want to teach Middle School Language Arts. This would entail planning lessons and

teaching several classes a day. I’ll have to meet with parents and grade lots of papers.

EDEE 515: Middle School Organization and CurriculumThis class focuses on how middle school is organized in their programs and what curriculums are most effective for the developmental level of middle school students. Theorists are stressed in this class.

EDEE 409: Meeting the Needs of Diverse LearnersThis class focuses on the psychology behind diverse learners and how to accommodate their needs. This course also include an intense study of different learning styles.

EDEE 459: Clinical PracticeFor a full semester, the intern is placed with a teacher in one of the public schools and fulfills the requirements of a classroom teacher.
