Are you beginning to count the cost of Christmas? Food, festivities, decorations, cards, presents.... stress! Maybe we are missing the point – the cost that has already been counted when God made the ultimate gesture of goodwill and became human for our sake. This is the biggest gift of all.
So, take a little time this Christmas to mull over the meaning of it all and come, worship (for free!) at one of our churches. We are here to serve our community and let the light of Christ shine where there is darkness.
Rev’d Lisa Cornwell Vicar of St John the Baptist
