Every child has the right to education.
Well done to Reception for the highest attendance last week-just! They will be
looking after Rocky next week!
Dear Parents and Carers, Have you noticed how well Emmanuel are doing in the sports competitions this year? I am sure you are as delighted as I am. I need to order a new cabinet for all the trophies we are winning! Well done to all the children and to Mr Wright! Have a lovely weekend, Miss Fitzsimmons

QUAD KIDS ATHLETICS
On Friday, Emmanuel Y3/4 athletes had their chance to represent the school amongst the best athletes in Camden. Children had to compete in 80m sprints, 400m run, Long jump and Vortex throw where they were awarded points which went to the team’s overall score.
Teams were separated into Y3 and Y4 as they made their way around the events. With some promising results early on, we thought maybe we might be able to back up the performance of the Y5/6 the previous week.
Again, as the scores were read out, Emmanuel’s name still had not been called for Y3. They finally announced that we came 1st place overall. The children were delighted and the Y4 were just as excited coming in 4th place.
Well done to Mia Y4 and Rosie Y3 for placing 3rd overall. Also a very well done to Luccia and Eclesio for their amazing efforts as well as the rest of the squad for their effort, teamwork and sportsmanship!
FROM FR JONATHAN - CHAIR OF GOVERNORS
I hope that this finds you well and that you are enjoying the
wonderful weather, rather than being overcome by it. The
Governors recently had a whole day visiting the school and meeting
our link subject leaders of the area for which we have responsibility
as well as enjoying the fullness of the school day. We wish to place
on record our sincere thanks for all that our amazing staff and
wonderful children are doing to enable our school to be such an
inclusive and flourishing place. Thank you, too, to you as parents
and carers for all that you contribute to school life. It is very much
appreciated.
Over at the church our usual Sunday service pattern continues
throughout the summer as we remember to give thanks to God for
the sun, the sky and the sea and pray as always for those less
fortunate than ourselves. Emmanuel Church aspires to be a
community of love and inclusion and you are all most welcome at
any of our services and activities.
4W GO APE!
On Thursday, 4W went to Go Ape with their
class tea money. With wonderful weather,
the children were all very excited to go on
the Tree Top Junior course. Once all the
children were safely harnessed in, they
hooked in for a jam-packed hour of wobbly
bridges, intricate crossings and a fabulous
zip wire finale. As always the class were
well behaved and respectful. Thanks to all
the helpers who came to support!

RACE TO HEALTH
We are currently in Sydney Australia and have travelled 30,958 miles as a school. Our next stop is King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 3B are still the most active class with 5Mc not far behind. We are now 2nd out of all the schools taking part so don’t forget to log your exercise this week! Remember on Friday you can come to school wearing football
outfits or colours of countries participating in the world cup- £1
donation to UNICEF.
Manty thanks for all your support.
MATCHED FUNDING
Through the efforts of only three parents, we have raised an impressive £1,250 for the school via 'matched funding'. Many companies run schemes to support employees who are raising money for a charity, and the PFE is a registered charity. We are happy to help supply the necessary evidence for your HR department. If more parents look into their company's matched funding policies, we could potentially raise quite a significant amount for the school!
International Evening
International Evening is next Thursday (5:30pm to 8pm). Oakhill Residential is this year's sponsor. It
is not too late to sign up for a volunteering slot!
YEAR 6 PARENTS
SATS results are in on Tuesday 10th July.
