    1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION 

    1.1 Overview

    These user guide are provided as references to training providers, involved in the implementation ofEntrepreneurship Skills Enhancement Programme for Indian Community (EMPhatIC) .

    1.2 Objective

    The objective of this program is to equip participants with skills and knowledge to enable them toengage in business that can help to increase the income and improve the socio- economic status. 

    1.3 Target Group

    The target audience for the training is an Indian community. The training is open for PMR or SPMschool leavers and dropout students. Hence, for those interested venturing into business is alsoeligible to enroll for this programme with the following requirements:

      Indian and Malaysian citizen only.

      Aged between 16 to 45 years.

      Possess at least the Penilaian Menengah Rendah ( PMR ) ;

      B40 Group which is the average monthly household income of RM2, 573.00 and below.

    2.0 GETTING STARTED 

    2.1 Open System from HRDF Portal

    1) Login to eTRiS

    2) Go to Training Provider tab

    3) Click Emphatic to Launch

    3.0 USING THE SYSTEM 

    3.1 Logging On

    To use this system, firstly user needs to login using their MyCoID and Password. Both of MyCoIDand Password must be same as HRDF Portal system.

    3.2 Add New Class

    After successfully login, user will redirect to Emphatic system home page. This page will provide

    summary of „ EMPhatIC Program’  as at today. There are five buttons at the top of this page:

    No Buttons Functions

    1 Home Go to Emphatic Home page

    2 Help Download user guide

    3 Logout Logout from system

    4 Add Class To add new class

    5 View Class To view class status and information

    To add new class:

    Step 1: Click „ Add Class’  button.

    Step 2: Clicking the „ Add Class’ , a new form appear  –  New Class Registration. Training Provider

    need to fill in all field in this form and after finish, click „ Register ‟ button to register this class.

    Step 3: Clicking the „ Register ‟ button, alert windows will pop up to get confirmation from TrainingProvider whether they want to register this class or not. By click „Cancel ‟, system will go back to New Class Registration form and if click „OK’  Training Provider agreed to register this class and will be redirect to new page called Class Information.

    Step 4: After successfully register new class, Training Provider can view their class information andstatus at Class Information page. There are 5 types of class status as below:

    No Status Information

    1  New Application New Application from TP (Can Edit/ Delete Class)

    2 Submit Application had been submit and waiting HRDF Officer to process

    3 Query HRDF Officer query the class application (Can Edit Class)

    4 Approved Class already been approved by HRDF Officer5 Reject Class had been reject by HRDF Officer

    And there are five function buttons on each application that depend on class status.

    No Buttons Functions

    1 Add Trainee Add new trainee for the class

    2 Submit Submit class application

    3 Edit Class Edit class information (Date, Training Location)

    4 Delete Class Delete class application

    5 View Trainee View list of trainee

    3.3 Add New Trainee

    After Training Provider successfully registers their class, they can add new trainee for their class withfollowing the below steps:

    Step 1: Click „ Add Trainee’  button.

    Step 2: Upon clicking the „ Add Trainee’   button, a new form appears –  “Add New Trainee”. TrainingProvider need to fill in this form and after finish, click „ Next ‟ button. (*) Indicates required field andmust be fill in.

    Step 3: Clicking „ Next ‟ button, a new form appear –  Upload Form. At this page, Training Provider isrequiring to upload trainee documents such as Copy of IC, Bank Account and etc. To upload new file,click „Browse‟ button then select file. Please ensure file size not more than 2MB. To add another file just follow previous step. After finish click „Register‟ button to register this student. 

    Step 4: Clicking the „ Register ‟ button, alert windows will pop up to get confirmation from TrainingProvider whether they want to register this trainee or not. By click „Cancel ‟, system will go back to New Class Registration form and if click „OK ‟ Training Provider agreed to register this trainee andwill be redirect to new page –  Trainee Information.

    Step 5: After successfully register new class, Training Provider can see their list of trainee and status

    at Trainee Information page. There are four status such as below:

    No Status Information1 Submit New trainee had been registered and waiting for HRDF Officer to

     process2 Query HRDF Officer query back the trainee registration (TP Can Edit

    Trainee Information)3 Approved Trainee already been approved by HRDF Officer

    4 Reject Trainee had been reject by HRDF Officer

    3.4 Add Session Plan

    In order to submit this application, Training Provider need to Add Session Plan using this system.

    This activity can be done by following this step:

    Step 1: Click „ Add Session’  button.

    Step 2: Clicking the „ Add Session’   button, a new form appear  –   Add New Session Plan. Training

    Provider need to add their session plan by select their respective date and days. After finish click„ Add ‟ button. Repeat this step for others date until „Total Days’  equal to „ Program Period’ .

    Step 3: After finish  provide all session date, click „Submit ‟ button.

    Step 4: Clicking the „Submit ‟ button, alert windows will pop up to get confirmation from TrainingProvider whether they want to submit this Session Plan or not. By click „Cancel ‟, system will go backto Add New Session Plan form while if click „OK ‟ Training Provider agreed to submit this SessionPlan and will be redirect to new page –  View Session Plan.

    Step 5: After successfully submit Session Plan, Training Provider can view their complete Session

    Plan. Click „ Back ‟ button to go to Class Information page. 

    3.5 Upload Session Plan & Invoice

    Before submit this application, Training Provider need to upload their Session Plan and Invoice first.

    Step 1: Click „Upload’  button at Class Information Page.

    Step 2: Clicking the „Upload’  button, a new form appear  –   New Class Upload Document. At this page, Training Provider needs to upload their Session Plan and Invoice. To upload new file, click„Browse‟ button then select file. Please ensure file size not more than 2MB. To add another file justfollow previous step.

    3.6 Submit Class Application

    To submit this application, Training Provider needs to follow the following steps:

    Step 1: Click „Submit’  button at Class Information Page.

    Step 2: Clicking the „Submit ‟ button, alert windows will pop up to get confirmation f rom TrainingProvider whether they want to submit this Application or not. By click „Cancel ‟, system will go backto Class Information page and if click „OK ‟ Training Provider agreed to submit Application and will be redirect to new page –  Declaration Form.

    Step 3: At this page, Training Provider need to read and understand the declaration and fill in the fieldand tick the check box that indicate Training Provider agreed with this declaration. Click „Submit ‟ button to submit this application.
