FIRE PREVENTION MONTH 2018 Presidential Proclamation No. 115–A as declared to be the official observation of Fire Prevention Month during the month of March. The Fire Prevention Month is promoted to the public through various fire safety information campaigned and activities. The promotion also greatly influence the public to lessen the fire incident at homes, businesses and offices.
The PTC encouraged all the company fire brigade teams to join on the annual activity in partnership
with the Bureau of Fire Protection and Municipality of Carmona in the observance of the Fire Safety and Prevention Month 2018.
March 9, 2018 – The group initiated to conduct a Fire Safety Seminar in cooperation with Bureau of Fire Protection of Municpality of Carmona. FO3 Vicente G Lombog, C, FSES discussed the Emergency Action, Fire Prevention Plan and Phases of Fire Fighting Operation. Seminar aims to give knowledge and skills necessary to develop and implement fire safety program to each locators. The seminar was participated by 24
employees from 20 different PTC locators

March 23, 2018 – As part of Fire Prevention Month the group conducted its 15th FBO Brigade competition. The ten (10) contingents competed in the 3 basic skills, drills and diverse roles performed by firefighters including rescuer and first aider.
The competition was supported by Bureau of Fire Protection-Carmona represented by FO3 Vicente G Lombog, C, FSES as judge of the
event. After the speed relay competition the top 3 teams proclaimed as the winners.
This competition aim to promote the development on the preparedness in response to the real situations on the community.
March 17 & 24, 2018 – PTC In Coordination with PHIL. RED CROSS RIZAL CHAPTER - Muntinlupa City Branch headed by Mr. John Edward delos Santos, CSR Safety & Disaster Mngt. Service conduct a TAILORED FIRST AID with BASIC LIFE SUPPORT FOR LAY RESCUERS. This course that teaches office and industrial workers basic and practical lifesaving skills they can apply during workplace emergencies. This 16-hours hands-on training and practice includes treating wounds and burns, recognizing and controlling bleeding, immobilizing fractures, moving and lifting victims, and other basic lifesaving skills. Also complies with First Aider certification requirements of the Department of Labor & Employment (Section 6.a, Rule 1, Book 4: Occupational Safety & Health of the Philippine Labor Code) and the Department of Tourism (Item c, Section 13, Chapter 3 of the Philippine Hotel Code).
This training is to train citizens to help people in emergencies by equipping them with knowledge and skills in responding to emergencies with confidence.
After the training all participants will participate on the actual skills test and written examination to pass as first aider. The training was participated by 22 employees from 11
different PTC locators.

Ulat Sa Bayan 2018
February 19, 2018 – Municipality of Carmona held its annual Ulat sa Bayan for 2017 (State of the Municipality Address) at Hon.
Carmona Town Park as part of Carmona Festivity.
Mayor Dahlia A. Loyola delivered her report of accomplishments and future plans for the town of Carmona, with the presence of the
different sectors of the community.
Included in the program was the recognition awarded to top taxpayer and partners of the LGU Carmona for their sustained
corporate social responsibility.
PIGMENTEX, INC. joined on the Fire Brigade Competition
March 8, 2018 - The PIGMENTEX, INC. joined on the 6th Mayor Dahlia A. Loyola Fire Olympics held at Carmona Municipal Park. The competitions composed on the 4 categories which are Bucket Relay, Fire Extinguisher Relay, Busted Host, and Tag of War. After the 4 categories challenges, they achieved the 1st Runner for Industrial Category. Pigmentex, Inc. represents to compete at the provincial Level.
March 23, 2018 – after their successful fight on the municipal level they move on the Provincial level to compete on the other municipality and cities within Province of Cavite. After their performance on 4 categories which are Bucket Relay, Fire Extinguisher Relay, Busted Host, and Tag of War they achieved 5th Place on the Industrial Level.
