Work4Progress Think Tank
1. INNOVATION: The Work 4 Progress Programme (W4P) supports the creation of "Open Innovation Platforms for the generation of employment in Peru, India and Mozambique" by establishing collaboration consortiums among local entities, Spanish NGDOs, academia and government authorities.
2. IMPORTANCE OF LISTENING AND IDENTIFYING: The main innovative aspect of this programme with respect to other international collaboration activities aimed at generating employment is that all consortiums are developing new instruments to learn more about community needs and aspirations before connecting them directly with new employment generation opportunities.
3. DESIGN THINKING: These "user-focused design" (Design Thinking) tools increase the impact of programmes by avoiding top-down initiatives and generating new collaboration models.
4. GENERATION OF EMPLOYMENT: Together, all the Work 4 Progress platforms will generate around 5,000 jobs in India, Peru and Mozambique.
5.- SOCIAL INNOVATION FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION: By incorporating these elements in an integrated manner, the W4P programme makes the most advanced social innovation tools available to international cooperation programmes, and positions FBLC among the leading foundations in this field on an international scale.
