EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMESCLASS OF 2017
For nearly 75 years, the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) has produced distinguished global leaders and accomplished practitioners of international affairs. The school’s graduates are valued in the global marketplace and known for their ability to address multifaceted challenges across all sectors around the world.
This report is based on the results of an employment outcomes survey of students in the Master of Arts (MA), Master of International Public Policy (MIPP), Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance (MIEF), and Master of Arts in Global Risk (MAGR) programs who graduated between December 2016 and August 2017. These graduates found positions with over 250 employers worldwide.
The starting salaries for graduates noted in this report vary considerably depending on geographic location,
employment sector, and functional area within the sector. They do not include the additional salary benefits of graduates employed in the multilateral sector where income is often taxfree.
From strategic consultants to entrepreneurs, leaders of nongovernmental organizations to policymakers, Johns Hopkins SAIS graduates have joined an accomplished global network of more than 19,000 alumni making a significant contribution to society.
