HPE Implementation Service for SAP HANA Vora delivers the key benefits of SAP HANA Vora to your environment to enable your organization to bridge the divide between enterprise business data and Big Data. The HPE Pointnext implementation of SAP HANA Vora on Hadoop is based on mature and well-defined HPE Hadoop reference architectures.

The service implements data tiering for SAP HANA enabling you to utilize Hadoop as a cold datastore for less frequently accessed data. The service also enables the functionality for interactive analytics across both SAP HANA and Hadoop data using SAP HANA Vora and Spark. With data tiering, SAP HANA customers can utilize Hadoop as a cold datastore for less frequently accessed data while still meets your data retention requirement and help keep your HANA memory requirement or cost at your desired level.

Professional Services: Optimizing HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA

Proactive services to help ensure SAP HANA appliances are running at peak performance with reduced unplanned disruption.

HPE Healthcheck Service for HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA—The HPE Healthcheck Service is designed to help identify potential system configuration and availability problems on your designated HPE SAP HANA appliances before they might affect your critical operations. This service is a one-time remote technical assessment of your HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA appliance computing environments. HPE consultants use HPE software tools that collect and analyze system configuration details. After careful analysis of this collected information, a health check report is produced and delivered electronically.

HPE CSUR Update Service for HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA—The HPE CSUR Update Service is designed to keep your CS900, CS500, and AppSystem. HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA Appliances running at peak performance and reduce unplanned disruption to your IT environment. This service is a technical service that takes into account the relevant revision dependencies in order to provide remote updates to drivers, firmware and select management software for HPE server, storage, and solution components in the HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA ConvergedSystem CS500, CS900, and AppSystem Appliances.

HPE OS Patch Update Service for ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA—The HPE OS Patch Update Service is a one-time technical service that provides a remote review and implementation of the available OS general and security patch bundles based on HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA appliance OS image updates. Operating systems covered by this service include the SUSE Linux® Enterprise Server for SAP running on HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA appliances.

HPE OS Upgrade Service for HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA—The HPE OS Upgrade Service is a one-time technical service that provides a remote review and implementation of available upgrades to the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for SAP or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) for SAP HANA the operating systems. This service provides an upgrade to the currently installed appliance OS SUSE service packs or RHEL updates, but does not meet SAP recommended OS re-installation requirements associated with HANA 2.0 migrations.

HPE Database Upgrade Service for HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA—The HPE Database Upgrade service is a one-time technical service that provides remote implementation of available upgrades to the SAP HANA database. This service provides an upgrade to the most currently HPE certified SAP Support Package Stack (SPS), but does not include upgrades from SAP HANA 1.0 to SAP HANA 2.0.

HPE OS Re-Installation Service for HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA—HPE Operating System (OS) Re-Installation Service provides de-installation of your OS followed by re-installation for eligible SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for SAP OS or Red Hat operating system. As part of this service, the most current HPE certified SLES for SAP service packs or RHEL for SAP HANA updates will also be installed. This service satisfies the SAP recommendation for OS re-installation as part of a HANA 2.0 upgrade.

HPE Education Services offers a broad range of in-depth training courses to address your information management and information infrastructure needs. HPE Education Services provides comprehensive training support for HPE’s ConvergedSystem 500 and ConvergedSystem 900 SAP HANA infrastructure solutions. HPE Upgrade Accelerator Service for SAP HANA 2.0

The HPE Upgrade Accelerator Service for SAP HANA 2.0 facilitates your move to SAP HANA 2.0 with minimal downtime and reduced risk to your business. As part of the delivery of the service, HPE Pointnext ensures SAP and HPE support levels are maintained as part of the upgrade process. The service is delivered utilizing the HPE Pointnext Framework for SAP HANA Solutions, developed by HPE Pointnext.

HPE Platform Protection and Compliance for SAP HANA

The HPE Platform Protection and Compliance Service optimized for SAP HANA is a combination of processes and tools developed by HPE leveraging multiple security standards (CIS, NIST, ISO, DISA, etc.) to assess and lock-down the security related settings of multiple platforms—including OS, application and cloud platforms—to comply with regulations (such as PCI, SOX, and HIPAA) and strengthen the security posture of an organization’s IT infrastructure.
