Heart Care Partnership (UK) was set up in 2003 in response to
a request from the British Cardiovascular Society, to draw
together users that could represent patients and carers within
the process for cardiac service improvement.
Heart Care Partnership (UK) embraces all organisations which
support patients and carers, specifically those with
cardiovascular disease and associated conditions.
Our aims are:
To bring together groups supporting heart patients,
their carers and other family members to share good
practice and streamline care pathways.
To raise awareness of heart conditions.
To advance public education about the problems
experienced by heart patients and their families.
To develop patient empowerment.
To work to improve the treatment of heart disease
and, where possible, its prevention.
