It is my pleasure to introduce you to EmZ Big Sexy Musicand her debut album

POSTCARDS (released July 30, 2013).

EmZ is an international woman of mystery. Journeying from the remote wilderness of

Northern Australia to the concrete jungle of New York, EmZ (Emma Zakarevicius) writes her

Big Sexy story in POSTCARDS, which she describes as sonic letters to the ones she loves.

Inspired by a nomadic sensibility and the romance of travel, each song is a poem, a postcard

written to thou who is no longer present, the unrequited love; the dearly departed, the absent

other. Sometimes tender, sometimes wickedly funny POSTCARDSis the tale of big sexy

soul in bloom - and its a sweet and vicious journey!

Accompanied by the Big Sexy Orchestra, an ever-expanding roster of sexy musicians, EmZs

hip hot jazz sound is unconventional and punchy. Her influences are eclectic as her music:

the cool voices of Anita ODay; echoes of Judy Garland, the hurt child longing for the rainbow;

the raucous, rebellious shout of Rock and Roll. With its lush, surprising arrangements,

POSTCARDSis a symphony of sexiness.

EmZ is no stranger to the New York stage and has featured at the 54 Below Call Back Series,

The Bitter End Singer Songwriter Sessions, two nights at the legendary Dont Tell Mama,

and most recently The Gershwin Hotel, where she debuted POSTCARDSto a full house and

sell out show. EmZ is a member of the New Amsterdam Music Association where she sings

regularly to her adoring fans in Harlem.
