1) Gauge length is equal to five times the test specimen diameter. 2) Only one single value lower than minimum average is permitted.

3) The test piece shall be cooled in the furnace to 300°C, at a rate not exceeding 200C/hr

4) Tolerance ±10 min.

5) Immediatelly after welding the test piece is to be cooled down to 120°C to 100°C and kept at this temperature for at least 1 hr.
