She tried to find the cat but could not and was extremely upset. She just wanted residents to remember, PEOPLE, PLANTS, & PETS. Pets can not take the extremely freezing weather that we sometimes experience. Please be a responsible pet owner and good master and bring your pets in at night, even if it is in the garage. You will be rewarded a thousand times over by your grateful pets. Millsap Weatherbug Forecast Available On-line: Millsap Elementary now owns its very own state of the art WeatherBug weather station. Real time meteorlogical readings and the 7 day forecast for our neighborhood can be accessed at home on-line. To get the latest local readings and the weekly forecast from Millsap go to: www.instaweather.com/KLAS/default. asp?cid=90&id=CYPML Bookmark the site on your home computer as one of your “favorites” for a quick look at the local weather forecast and current readings. The WeatherBug weather station is linked to Channel 11 KHOU. It was purchased with funds from a generous $10,000 BP A+ For Energy Grant awarded to Carmela Simmons, an EV resident and first grade teacher at Millsap. (Atta Girl! Carmela!!!) The WeatherBug will help students study solar and wind energy, weather science, environmental conservation and math. Celebrating a Kite Day and growing a sunflower Flower Power house are planned for the spring. The grant also includes funds for a field trip to the Museum of Science, books, and new interactive personal response computer technology for the classroom. Theft in EV: A resident on Bonnywood recently awoke to find his car sitting on landscape timbers with all four wheels missing. The police said that it was a professional/s that did the damage. It is getting more and more common in the area. Please keep you cars parked in your driveways or at least in a lighted area. It may not stop them, but it also might make them pursue another vehicle or at least maybe get caught in the light. February Birthdays Ron Andreo, Larry Bagley, Dan Bennett, Butch Blackmon, Marjorie Brinegar, Sheryl Bumgarner, Thomas Celonia, Rose Marie Cesmirosky, Matt Cilny, Danny Cilny, Rebecca Cormier, George Dalton, & Crystal Hill, Stacy DeMoss, Kevin DeMoss, Russell Fishbeck, Anne Goad, Ty Gorman, Bill Gross, Darlene Gruenzner, Pat Hartman, Bobbie Don Hill, Kenneth Horn, Wally Hudnall, Matthew Junklaus, Kenneth Kite, Carole Linseisen, Ruth Livingston, Laura Love, DJ McCowin, Jodean Meischen, Amanda Mitchell, Bob Morse, Jaden O’Brien, Daniel Ogrodowicz, Cody Ogrodowicz, Todd Parsons, Randy Potter, Ryan Strobel, Joseph Talley, Bryce Toler, Amie Tomich, Tim Tsotsonis, Angelina Tsotsonis, Alexander Tsotsonis, Barney Van Huss, David Whitfield, & Marilyn Wilson.
