Merge a StudentThis is used when there are 2
students in Campus that are identical. Please email Bonnie the student names and ID #’s.
Delete a Student using @ This is done when you have entered a new student and realize that there already is a student created. This student/person does NOT have an ID # assigned yet. No information has been attached to this person yet.
Delete a Student – email BonnieThis is done when you have
created a student and assigned a Student ID# to it and then you realize it is a duplicate. Please include what happened so I know for sure it is ok to delete.
Examples:
Mom and Dad divorced and dad has moved out.
End Date
You would go to the Household tab and end date dad. Remember you never delete the relationship.You would also then go ahead and put dad in his own household.
You entered a student into Campus and suddenly realized that he was already entered.
Delete a Student using @
You can put the @ anywhere in the name just ensure there is no space between it.
You entered Luis Hernandez after winter break – your ELL Specialist comes to you and says she has information for Luis Soto Hernandez and they both have the same Student ID and same SAIS ID.
Merge a Student
Contact Bonnie and a case will be entered with Campus to merge this information.
You entered a student and created the enrollment. This student has now been assigned a student ID.
Delete a Student – email Bonnie
You are cleaning up your ADE errors and notice that you have a student in current year – her name is Suzy Smith ID#123456 her SAIS ID # is 5869456. As you are fixing this student you notice there is another Suzie Smith just spelled different. Suzie’s ID #564321 and SAIS ID #25689874.
Merge a Student
Bonnie will work with ADE to get the SAIS information merged. Once this is complete Bonnie will contact Campus to merge the student. When all merging is completed, Bonnie will enter the information in the Identities Tab so we know at one point she went by Suzie.
