Desktop Backup Agent

1st component

Desktop Backup Agent This Desktop Backup Agent need to be installed on individual EndPoints (Laptops / Desktops)

Organizational Hierarchy

When users are installing this backup agent first time, User need to add details like from which location this device / user belongs to...

Select Backup Folders Users can select multiple backup folders from where they would like to backup the data

Choose file formats

Add multiple file formats if you want to backup specific file types from the selected folders, or use *.* for all file formats

Select your first data backup

Select a date and year from where you would like to start the first data backup. Once this initial data is backed up in Cloud then only incremental backup will happen.

Backup Frequency

Schedule a Backup frequency (backup every 1 Hr, 2 Hr, 1 Day etc...) or Backup Time (backup only from 9 AM to 6 PM)

Device id

Device id is the Unique identification that you need to assign to this desktop agent, this could be your email id or anything

Bandwidth Management

Bandwidth Throttling - You can decide how much bandwidth you would like to give to this backup agent, Agent will take that much bandwidth only and remaining will be free for other uses. (Ex: If your bandwidth is 1 MBPS so backup agent will take 400 KBPS (40%) bandwidth only)

Search, Download & Share files

You can search a particular file that you would like to download / restore / share using this search parameters

Select restore destination

Select a desktop destination where you would like to restore the selected files

File versioning

We maintain multiple versions of your file and you can restore any version

File Sharing

You can share the files with other peoples in very secured way

Quick Backup

You can backup any folders on quickly basis and data will get backed up immediately

Uses can see the Explorer view of your Backup files and folders

Web Management Console

Web Console login This is the Web Console login. You need to type www.cloud.endpointvault.com to access this console.

Management Dashboard This Management Dashboard will help to monitor, manage and control the backup process.

Search, Download & Share files

Using this search parameter you will be able to search, download and share the files.

Global Settings for all users Through this Global setting you will be able to enforce a backup policy to all users and this will get reflected automatically to all the devices

Individual user setting You can control or edit individual users settings and once setting saved that will be automatically reflected to that particular device

Users Privileges

You can create multiple users for this web console and give them privileges as a Administrator (User can access all data and delete data from cloud) or General User (User only can see his data and not able to delete the data from cloud)

Add Alerts

You can add multiple email alerts (Backup stopped, Device not reachable, Storage quota full etc... ) and assign multiple subscribers.

View all devices

You can see all devices and their current status on single click

Desktop agent UI

You can decide which desktop agent tabs will be visible to end users.

Reports You can generate various reports like who has downloaded what content, Active or InActive Devices etc for official use
