Anti Malaria
On 01/06/2017, Dr Smt Swarna Vijaya Gowri,
the DM & HO have announced that June month
will be declared as the anti - Malaria month.
She has announced that to destroy Lara in the drains and tanks, gambusia fish will be spread.
Nava Nirmana Deeksha
In the meeting with the press, the
Commissioner Sri G Bala Subramanyam has
announced that “Nava Nirmana Deeksha” should
be celebrated in the fittest manner. He announced
that IKP Mahila Groups will participate with the
employees in possession between 8 A.M and 2
P.M. The Rally will reach the Mahatma, Pule
Statues by 8.45 A.M from 9 A.M to 11 A.M the
Diksha will be conducted.
On 02/06/2017, “Nava Nirmana
Diksha” Programme was conducted near
PCR School in a grand manner. The Minister
Sri Amarnatha Reddy, the District Collector,
the Z.P.Chaireperson, the local MLA, MLC,
Mayor and the Commissioner have
participated in the Diksha
On 03/06/2017, the MLA Smt Satya Prabha has praised
the Chief Minister regarding the strains, she is talking for the
“Nava Nirmana Diksha”. She has also stated that gas connection
for 1.86 lakhs families are to be sanctioned. The MLC Sri
Dorababu has stated every drop of water should be saved during
“Panta Sanjeevani” in this Programme. Smt Y.V. Rajeswari the
Mahila Welfare Director, RDO Kodandarami Reddy and the
Commissioner of Chittoor Municipal Corporation have

Ward Visit
On 04/06/2017, during the “Nava
Nirmana Deeksha” Programme, conducted at
“Nagayya Kalakshetram”, the Mayor has
called for the cooperation of all the citizens
of Chittoor for the improve of the City. Out
of 1012 toilets 985 works were started. The
Commissioner has requested all the citizens
to extend their helping hands for the
improvement of Andhra Pradesh. The Town
Bank Chairman, the Assistant Commissioner,
Corporators and other VIP’s have
participated in the programme.
On 08/06/2017, the District Collector, during the
“Nava Niramana Deeksha” Programme has awarded the
Best Officer award to the Municipal Corporation Town
Planning Officer Sri P Nagendra.
The Mayor Katari Hemalatha, during
her visit at P.H.Wada, Gokulam Street and
OTK Road has announced that she will do
her best to solve the problems of the
Citizens.

On 09/06/2017, the Mayor Smt
Katari Hemalatha has visited the health
centre at Kajoor and verified the records.
She has enquired about the services
rendered to the poor. The Deputy Mayor
has also attended the programme.
On 14/06/2017, the Mayor Smt Katari
Hemalatha during her visit at Vegetable Market,
Sri Rama koval Street, Church Street, Bazzar
Street, and Bramhin Street has announced that
the business peoples should cooperate by not
thronging the wastages on Roads and Drains.
She has requested the business peoples that
everyone should try to construct septic tanks.
The Commissioner Sri G Bala
Subramanyam, during his visited at High
Road and Church Street has warned the
business peoples to keep Chittoor City clean.
He has levied penalty on the vendors who
are selling prohibited plastic covers.

On 16/06/201 the Commissioner has
inspected several divisions in the City. He has
verified the records at Ramakrishna Upper
Primary School. He has distributed Dumping
Baskets and seized several plastic covers. He has
also met several houses and requested the ladies
to segregate dry and wet waste and handover
them to the Municipal Workers.
The Mayor Smt Katari Hemalatha has
visited the Health Centres at
T.Chevatapalli and checked the attendance of
Doctors and Staff. She has issued instructions
to the staff to bestow their personal attention in
the service of the patients.
The Commissioner has supervised the
laying of cement Road work at Post Office
Street has issued instructions for Quality
Work.
The Commissioner during his special drive, under the “Swachh
Barath” programme, has conducted supervision from MSR Circle to
Palamaner Road. He has announced that the programme will be
conducted for one week.
On 22/06/2017, the Central Team have visited the
implementation of “Swachh Barath” work and visited PCR and Little
Flower Schools. In this programme the Commissioner Sri G Bala
Subramanyam has participated.
The team has also visited Gandhi Road and High Road and supervised about the stagnated
water in the Drains.

Happy Sunday
World Environmental Day
The “Happy Sunday” programme was
conducted near Gangineni Cheruvu. The Mayor Smt
Katari Hemalatha has announced that this programme
was conducted for happiness of the citizens of
Chittoor. She has requested all the peoples, from poor
to rich, should participate in the programme and
forgets their problems at the Sunday celebration.
On 18/06/2017, the Commissioner has conducted a 15
over’s Cricket match between Engineering Section and
Health Section. In this match the Engineering Section has
scored 93 runs where as the Health Section got 70 runs. In
this occasion the Commissioner has said that for Physical and
Mental fitness, games are very important.
On 05/06/2017, the Mayor has announced that, it is
the duty of the all citizens to safeguard the environment.
She has distributed dustbins at Vengalrao Colony. The
Commissioner, The Deputy Mayor, The Assistant
Commissioner, The Corporator Annapurna have
participated.
The MLA Smt D Satya Prabha under “World Environmental
Day” has conducted the special programme at Vengalrao Colony. In
this programme she has announced that due to throw of plastic papers
in the drains, the water is stagnated, with the results the water is
overflowing on the roads. Free dustbins were distributed to the ladies
of Vengalrao Colony.

Beautification of Chittoor
The Mayor Smt Katari Hemalatha and The
Commissioner Sri G Bala Subramanyam have
requested the public to save environment under
“World Environment Day” programme. Wall
Posters were pasted on the wall near MSR Circle.
On 06/06/2017, the Chittoor Municipal Corporation has
undertaken programme to remove all wall posters near MSR
Circle, PCR School in the “Clean and Green” programme.
In this programme the Municipal Commissioner has
announced that this programme will be continued for one
week. The programme was conducted near the Court
Complex also.
On 15/06/2017,”Swacch Barath” programme was conducted by the Municipal Corporation
near Raithu Bazaar. In this connection the wall posters near Raithu Bazaar was removed by the
corporation staff.
On 07/06/2017, the Mayor Smt Katari Hemalatha has inaugurated “Water Plant” at
Corporation High School, Gandlapalli. Hon’ble Minister Sri Adhi Narayana Reddy, Sri Amarnatha
Reddy, MLA Smt Satya Prabha, Commissioner Sri G Bala Subramanyam, Sri Deputy Mayor
Subramanyam and TDP leaders have participated.
On 12/06/2017, the PH Worker of Chittoor Municipal Corporation has cleaned all the Drains,
Streets, at Ambhekar Nagar, Jayanagar, and Sankarayya Gunta were cleaned under the supervision of
Sanitary Inspector Sri Jagan.
On 17/06/2017, the Mayor has inspected the sanitation work at Mittoor. The Corporator
concerned was enquired about the problems in the division. She has informed that the works of
laying of roads and construction of drainage works will be taken up soon.
The Mayor Smt Katari Hemalatha has also inspected the VGK Kalyana Mandapam and
supervised the sanitation work. The Assistant Commissioner, TDP leaders have participated in this
work.
On 13/06/2017, the District Collector has announced that master plan is being prepared for the
beautification of Chittoor City. In this connection he has ordered the Commissioner to give the
detailed project report. The District Collector has also visited the Government lands at Barath Nagar,
Bramhana Cheruvu Tank, the Lilli Bridge, Kattamanchi Tank and Cooperative Market Yard.

The Commissioner has issued postings to 54 Municipal Teachers under the Rationalization
Programme.
The MLA Smt D Satrya Prabha and the Mayor Smt
Katari Hemalatha along with MLC Sri Dorababu and the
Commissioner Sri G Bala Subramanyam have distributed
free cycles to the students of Dr Varadhappa Naidu High
School and Kasturibha High School s who are studying in 9th
class.
The representatives of AP Skill Development Private Company have announced that
employment will be provided by establishing LED mini bulbs unit. Nearly 10 lakhs machineries
were already established. In this function the Mayor, the Commissioner and MEPMA PO Gopi
have participated.
The Commissioner Sri G Bala Subramanyam has announced that the youth, who have
passed B.Pharmacy, can apply to work in the generic medical store before 21st of June.
The MLA Smt D Satya Prabha, has opened Water Plant under “Srinivasa Trust” with 7 lakhs
at 40 & 41st Divisions. The Mayor Smt Katari Hemalatha, MLC Sri Dorababu, The Deputy Mayor
Sri Subramanyam and the Commissioner Sri G Bala Subramanyam have participated.
The Commissioner Sri G Bala Subramanyam has announced that a meeting with the
beneficiaries for “Pakka Houses” from 19th to 25th will be conducted at Municipal Office.
On 19/06/2017, “Gruhameela Sakha” was conducted in the Corporation. In this function the
TPO has informed that 4196 beneficiaries have applied for Pakka Houses. He has also informed that
every day meetings will be conducted for 7 Divisions and after the completion of survey, the
construction of Pakka Houses will be taken up.
The Commissioner Sri G Bala Subramanyam, in the “Manaillu Mela” has announced that
Pakka Houses will be allotted to all the beneficiaries. Rs 5 lakhs will be sanctioned for construction of
loans with 50% of subsidy.
On 20/06/2017 the MLA Smt D Satya Prabha in the “Gruhamela”, conducted in Municipa l
Corporation, has said that 300,365,430 square yards, G+3 will be constructed and given to the
benificiaries.In this programme, 1.5 lakhs by Central Government and 1.5 lakhs by State Government
and remaining amount will be sanctioned by the banks as loans.

On 24/06/2017, during the “Gruhamela Programme” conducted at the Municipal Corporation
many citizens have participated. Seven Divisions per day were reviewed for three categories nearly
1500 agreements were received. The Mayor and the Deputy Mayor have attended on the function
conducted on Saturday. The TPO Sri P Nagendra has said that the list of all the agreements collected
will be sent to the Government for approval.
The Engineering Chief Sri Panduranga Rao in the meeting at RNB Guest House with the
MLA, Mayor and Corporators, has told that permanent solution for drinking water for the citizens of
Chittoor will be solved through Hangriniva project. He has also told water will be supplied from
Adavipalli reservoir to Kalavakunta NTR Jalasayam.In this Occasion MLA, Mayor and
Commissioner have participated.
The MLA Smt D Satya Prabha at Gandlapalli has distributed
“Ranjan Tophas” and wished that all Muslims should celebrate
Ranjan happily.

On 21/06/2017, the MLA Smt D Satya Prabha
and the Mayor Smt Katari Hemalatha have
inaugurated the “Dhomalapai Dhandayatra”
programme from Municipal Corporation Office to
NTR Circle through Over Bridge. In this occasion
they have requested the public to be aware about
spreading of mosquitoes. They have informed that
they must keep environment clean and see that no
stagnated water is within the surrounding of the

“Yoga Day” was celebrated in a grand manner
at PVKN grounds under NCC Officers Management.
Students, Officials, Workers have participated. The
Collector said that the yoga is good for Physical and
Mental peace. The Collector has distributed
mementos to the Yoga gurus. In this function the Joint
Collector J C Gireesha, the RDO Kodhandarami
Reddy, the Mayor Smt Katari Hemalatha, the
Commissioner Sri G Bala Subramanyam, DEO Sri
Syamal and other officials have participated.
Smt Krishnaveni has been appointed as MEPMA Town Machine Coordinator on
promotion.Sri Gopi, present Town Machine Coordinator was promoted as Technical Expert and
posted to Tirupathi.
The Commissioner has prised that several Anganwadi Centres are functioning well. He has
visited several centres and appreciated the paintings.
On 23/06/2017, Smt D Satya Prabha MLA has declared open the “Olympic Run” at Mesanical
Ground. She has said that the students, along with education, should develop interest in games and
sports. A run was conduct with torches from Mesanical Grounds to PCR Circle. In this function the
Mayor, DO and Precedent of Olympic association have participated.
The Mayor during the Ranjam festival has distributed 1.5 lakhs for the beautification of
mazids. Rs 25 thousands for Sowkathpet, Nazeer Gardens, Prasanth Nagar, Dargamitta, Old Bus
stand and Chamanthi Puarm mazids. In this programme Sri Naushad, Mahabub Basha and others

Meeting at Council Hall
School Visit

The Mayor Smt Katari Hemalatha, with the Corporators at the meeting hall has said that nearly 25
crores were spent towards implementation of parks and tanks, laying of CC Road and Street Lights
etc. She has also said that the 2 crores are being spent towards the improvement of Gangineni
Cheruvu. In this occasion the Deputy Mayor has said that “Imax lights” were erected at MSR Circle,
Gandhi Circle, Collectorate Junction, Murakambattu Bypass Road and Gandla Palli Bypass Road.
The Mayor in the meeting held with the press, at the Corporation Office has said that pure
Administration is being implemented in the Corporation. She also said that all the Corporators are
working hard.
On 28/06/2017, the Mayor, along with Deputy Mayor, during
the visit at the Greamspet High School, has told the staff to impart
quality education to the children. She has also declared that a bore well
in the school will be provided for the drinking water purpose.
