INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR PROGRAM - APPROVALS

Enclosed is a list of private contractors that have been approved to conduct compli­ance source testing on behalf of the Air Resources Board pursuant to Section 91200-91220, Title 17, California Code of Regulations.

The program is designed to approve independent contractors for sources who may choose to have them conduct compliance testing instead of the Air Resources Board. The Air Resources Board does not require that contractors be approved prior to testing in California. Approval is only required by the Board if the contractor wishes to test under this program. In order to obtain approval a contractor is evaluated against standardized criteria. All the contractors which are included on the list had the proper equipment and qualified personnel to conduct the tests at the time we evaluated them.
