• As per Government Resolution, Public Henlth Depnrtmcnt, No.MM0.20 I I/CR No. 776/ Sevn-3, dated

14•h December, 2011 the post grndunte diplomn holders nre entitled for three ndditional increments and the

post graduate Degree holders entitled for six nddilionnl increments. It means the salary of the Medical

Officers(Specinlists) will be higher thnn that of Medical Onicers(Ml313S).

8.AGE:

9.1 As per existing rules as on 111 January, 2019 not more Chan 38 ycius. Relnxable as per rules in case

of backward class candidates.

9.2 The upper age lii11it may be relaxed maximum upto 5 years in case of the candidate who is already in

the Government medical service as Adhoc/ Bonded basis.

9.3 The Upper age limit may be relaxed maximum upto I 0 years in case of the candidates having

exceptional or super-specialist Qualification in the faculties specified above.

9. QUALIFICATION: Candidates must possess.

9.1 FOR MEDICAL OFFICER (MBBS post): The MBI3S Degree of a statutory University or any

other qualification as specified in the First or Second Schedule appended to the Indian Medical Council

Act, 1956 ( l 02 of 1956);

9.2 FOR MEDICAL OFFICER (specialist posts): The Post Graduate Diploma or Degree of a

Statutory University in Pediatrics 'or General Surgery or General Medicine or Gynecology or Anesthesia

or Orthopedics or Ophthalmology or Dermatology or Pathology or Psychiatry or Radiology or Blood

Transfusion in as specified in the First or Second Schedule appended to the Indian Medical Council Act,

1956 ( 102of1956);

9.3 The candidates should have completed their internship on or before 31 •1 December, 2018.

9.4 Candidates possessing qualification other than mentioned in 9.1 above should not apply for this

post.

2) The Health institutes in Tribal area are declared by, Government Resolution, Public Health

Department, No.MM0.1010/390/CR No.366/ Seva-3, dated 19t11 June, 2010 experience in there

are as on bonded I Adhoc basis as Medical Officer will be considered for weightage of Marks.

3) The candidates should enclose experience certificate issued by the competent authority. The

competent authority for issuing the experience certificate is Head of the Institute I Office.

4) Service Will be counted on 6 month period base. No weightage will be given for the service

rendered less than 6 months.

5) The cut-off date for the purpose of counting of weightage of marks will be 311h December,

2018. 6) For evaluation of marks as per the prescribed criteria for selection process the candidates must

send self attested copies of mark sheets and certificates along with the application form.

Otherwise the application form of the candidate will be rejected.

7) All application forms will be scrutinized by the Director, Directorate of Health Services,

Arogya Bhavan Mumbai and make the merit list of eligible candidates as per prescribed

procedure will be prepared and displayed on the website.

8) The eligible candidates will be called for the counseling and should remain personally present

along with original required documents for concealing.

9) As per the merit list and preferences of the eligible candidates Government will issue posting

orders on the same day of counseling.

10) The selected candidates are required to join at the place of posting within prescribed time limit

and will be registered in SEV ARTH.

11) The selected failing to join at the post of appointment within prescribed time limit will lose

there right to appointment.

12) It is mandatory for newly appointed Medical Officers to stay at Headquarters. Medical

Officer's salary is linked with their Bio matric attendance.

11. GENERAL :

12. NOTE

11.1 Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.

11.2 There are prospects of promotion to the post of Maharashtra Medical & Health

Services Gr-A (Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay 6600) provided candidate fulfills the

prescribed criteria.

11.3 Selected candidates will be debarred from doing any private practice, but will

be paid non practice allowance in lieu of private practice according to the rules.

11.4 At the time of joining selected candidates will be required to sign bond and

submit it to Office in-charge to serve Government for a period of five years or in

default to pay a penalty amount as may be prescribed by the Government time to

time.

11.5 Selected candidates should have valid registration on the date of advertisement

with the Maharashtra Medical Council Act, 1965 (Mah.XLVI of 1965), or his/her

name should be enrolled in the Indian Medical Register maintained as per the Indian

Medical Council Act, 1956 (102of 1956).

12.1 Candidates are required to furnish an self certification in respect of correctness

and authenticity of the information mentioned in the Application Form. Information

if found incorrect then concerned candidate is liable for prosecution as per prevaiJing

rules.
