Pacemaker’s two independent audio channels let you play two tracks side by side.Select a channel and do your creative adjustments on-the-fy.

4. Browse through the active lter criteria by stroking up or down on the touchpad.5. Select and apply a lter by swiping let or right on the touchpad.6. Release the P-switch to access the ltered out track list.

Disable a previously selected lter by pressing cue or that entry. Disable all

previously selected lters by selecting the < All > entry in the active lter list.

Each channel’s track list is by deault independent. A linked track list common or  both channels can be optionally enabled in the settings menu.

7.1 Set cue point

1.Withatrackplayingontheactivechannel,pressplaytoDJ-pausethetrackatits current position

• Thetrackisstutteringatitscurrentposition.• Theplayandcuebuttonsareblinking.• TheDJ-pausesymbolisdisplayedatthetopcentreofthedisplay.

2. Move the track playback position ast orwards or backwards by pressing andholding orward or rewind.

• Thetrackisstutteringatitsmovingposition.• Theplayandcuebuttonsareblinking.• Theforwardorrewindsymbolisdisplayedatthetopcentreofthedisplay.

3. Adjust the current playback position orwards or backwards by searching/ stroking along the touchpad rim.

• Thetrackisstutteringatitsmovingposition.• Theplayandcuebuttonsareblinking.• TheDJ-pausesymbolisdisplayedatthetopcentreofthedisplay.

4. Set the cue point by pressing cue.

• Thetrackiscuedatitscurrentposition.• Thecuebuttonislit.• Thecuesymbolisdisplayedatthetopcentreofthedisplay.

5.Withasetcuepoint,youcanoptionally:• Revertaplayingtracktothesetcuepointbypressingcue.• Playthetrackfromthesetcuepointbypressingandholdingcue.Thetrackwill

be cued again when you release cue. The track will continue to play when press-ing play beore releasing cue.

Vinyl style pause can be optionally enabled in the settings menu.

Only one user-defned cue point can be set per track. Loading a new track will

 remove the previously set user-defned cue point.

When autocue is enabled, Pacemaker cues tracks at frst beat. Autocue can beoptionally disabled in the settings menu.

Cue points can be defned in the Editor. When transerring tracks rom the Editor toPacemaker, the defned cue points will remain set until altered; on the Pacemaker or in the Editor.

position, is heard through the lineout output.

You can crossade between channel 1 and channel 2 independent o whichchannel is currently active.

The crossader action is relative; you can place your fnger at any position on thecrossader, and the crossade indicator position will change relative to the input.

Optional crossader types can be enabled in the settings menu.

7.4 Beatmatch

Withtracksplayingonbothchannels,pressandholdtheP-switchdownandpress play to instantly sync the tempo and phase o the track on the active channelwith the track on the passive channel. This one-click operation can be perormedat anytime when two tracks are playing.

I the white bars in the beat graph are driting to the right, the tempo o the trackplaying on the active channel is higher than the track playing on the passive channel.• Lowerthetempoofthetrackontheactivechanneluntilthewhitebarsstopdrifting.

I the white bars in the beat graph are driting to the let, the tempo o the trackplaying on the active channel is lower than the track playing on the passive channel.• Increasethetempoofthetrackontheactivechanneluntilthewhitebarsstops

driting.

I the white bars are not aligned with the grey bars in the beat graph, the phase othe track playing on the active channel is not synced with the track playing on thepassive channel.• Bendthetrackaccordinglyuntilthewhitebarsarealignedwiththegreybars.

When the white bars in the beat graph stop driting, the BPM o the two tracks onthe two channels match. 

When the white bars are aligned with the grey bars in the beat graph, the phaseo the track on the active channel is synced to the track on the passive channel.(Use your ears to identiy the downbeat when necessary.)

Monitor the beat graph to adjust tempo and phase during playback.

7.5 Headphones monitoring

7.7 Adjust track EQ and gain

Place your nger in the middle o the touchpad and swipe north, east, south or

west,dependingonwhatyouwanttoadjust.Whenyourngerreachestherimofthe touchpad, you can alter the value o the selected audio eect by stroking alongthe rim in either direction.

 Adjustments must be perormed as one continuous gesture without releasing your fnger rom the touchpad.

EQ and gain level adjustments only apply to the current track. Loading a new track will reset the EQ and gain level parameters to their deault values.

You can combine all the dierent levels by changing them one at a time.

The location o the audio eects on the touchpad can be confgured via the

 settings menu.

7.8 Adjust colour FX

PacemakerletsyouaddHi-cut/lo-cutlter,Wah,andCrushcoloureffects.Theeects are accessed at locations on the touchpad that can be congured throughthesettingsmenu;bydefaulttheHi-cut/lo-cutlterislocatedatwest.(WahandCrush are not enabled by deault; but can be optionally enabled and assigned viathe settings menu.)

7.9 Adjust beat FX

Pacemaker lets you add Roll, Echo, Reverb, Trans, and Delay beat eects. Beateffectsareadjustedthroughtwoparameters;dry/wetandtime(orsize).Theeects are accessed at locations on the touchpad that can be congured throughthe settings menu; by deault Reverb is located at north/top, Roll at east andEcho at south. (Trans and Delay are not enabled by deault; but can be optionallyenabled and assigned via the settings menu.)

FX adjustments only apply to the current track. Loading a new track will reset theFX parameters to their deault values.

Only one beat eect at the time can be activated (with Trans being the exception).

The location o the audio eects on the touchpad can be confgured via the set-tings menu.

7.10 Adjust keyThere are two ways to manipulate the key o a track; you can transpose a trackkey one octave (up/down) in increments o haltones; or you can tune a track pitchin percent o one haltone (up/down). The Key eect has no assigned deaultlocation on the touchpad. It can be assigned to any spot on the touchpad via thesettings menu.

1. Swipe rom the centre to the allocated spot on the touchpad to set the Keyvalue.

• Thecurrentkeyisshownonthedisplay.

2.Withoutreleasingyourngerfromthetouchpad,strokeclockwiseoranti-clock-wise along the rim to alter the key value up or down.

3.Whenyou’rehappy,releaseyourngerfromthetouchpad.

3.Whenyou’rehappy,releaseyourngerfromthetouchpad.

Key adjustments only apply to the current track. Loading a new track will reset the key parameters to their deault values.

1. Press kill-all to instantly deactivate EQ, colour and beat FX adjustments.2. Press kill-all again to relaunch deactivated EQ, colour and beat FX adjustments.

I you alter EQ, colour and/or beat FX parameters ater pressing kill-all, you can no longer revert to previous EQ and FX adjustments.

Kill-all will not aect Gain or Key adjustments.

7.12 Reverse play

The loop will be cancelled i you perorm one o the ollowing actions between setting the loop in-point and end-point: Release the P-switch, reverse the playingdirection, or change the tempo.

 A loop is automatically exited i you cue, ast orward or rewind a track within an activated loop.

Once defned, a loop is permanently saved and can be re-activated even ater  another track has been loaded.

You can only have one loop per track. I you set a new loop in a track, the previous loop defnition is overwritten.

7.14 Adjust loop

Loop adjust is only possible while looping.

7.15 Split/double loop

 A split loop can only be doubled up to its original length.

Splitting and doubling a loop is only possible while looping.

8 rg  AnymixcanbesavedonyourPacemaker.Whentransferringyourmixestothe Pacemaker Editor, you can edit and rene your mixes as you like. You can alsoupload your mixes on the Internet and let anyone listen anytime.

Select Settings > Mix save > and choose rom ‘Save’, ‘Discard’ or ‘Cancel’.

ht Select Settings > Halt > and then select option in the menu and swipe right.1. Continue > to continue mixing.2. Save > to save the current mix.3. Lock > to lock the device rom input.4. New > to start recording a new mix.

Pacemaker has a built-in battery. A ully charged battery last or about ve hours in

Mix mode, or about teen hours in Play mode. I you leave Pacemaker unused ora while, you may need to charge it again.
