The SWISS GAME SHOW, an exhibition dedicated to the gaming and multimedia industry will be held in Geneva at PALEXPO on 12th, 13th and 14th November 2010.

Why are we organising this event?

The SWISS GAME SHOW is an exhibition dedicated to the gaming and multimedia industry: the leading entertainment industry worldwide, ahead of films and music.

Formerly reserved for a very specific market of GAMERS (intensive players), video games have now diversified and are appreciated today by women and children as well as senior citizens. The Wii Fit console from Nintendo is regularly used in homes for the elderly.

It is a reality: the video game is a cultural phenomenon in its own right, played on consoles provided by the major players in the market today, as well mobile phones and MP3 players/multimedia devices.

The SWISS GAME SHOW will be held at Palexpo from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th November 2010 inclusive. This venue, a must for international exhibitions, has been chosen to welcome the first Swiss Game Show.

We invite you to participate in a unique event, the first video game event in French speaking Switzerland.

Dates and venue

The SWISS GAME SHOW is an exhibition dedicated to the gaming and multimedia industry that will take placeover three days from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th November, 2010.

This date has not been chosen by chance: it is intended to follow the Swisstoy exhibition, which takes place inBern every year, and will allow residents of French speaking Switzerland and neighbouring France to enjoy the1st gaming and multimedia exhibition in Geneva.

We aim at making this exhibition a ‘must see’ show that visitors can enjoy every year and, ideally, use thisopportunity to try out their future Christmas gifts.

Geneva is the ideal place to organise this type of exhibition. Perfectly situated in the centre of Europe, it attractsmany Swiss and international visitors.

The Palexpo venue in Geneva is part of the event complex that will host the SWISS GAME SHOW. An annex of‘the Automnales’ exhibition, this hall is easily accessible and has a large car parking capacity. Moreover, Palexpo is the venue of the Geneva Motor Show. This location allows us to benefit both from thereputation of this international exhibition venue and its status.
